No he could not. Managers cannot be sent off. They can be asked to go from the touchline to the stand and the FA can take sanction but a Manager cannot receive a yellow or a red card.

The linesman at the other side was exactly the same. It was almost as if the ref had worked with them before and knew they were shit so had told them to give throw-ins and offsides and leave all other decisions to him - but they weren't even capable of that.
