“Never gonna get any favours from Oxford am I?”

“They were better than us first half. We played safe football, too many touches. Not like us”

“Few words at half time”

“Comfortable after first goal”

“Thought the subs made a difference. Went a bit more direct”

“Get on great with Leon Clarke. Had a tough time with injuries. If he was fit he would have been a big and important player for us”

“Thought Fleck was excellent 2nd half. Raised his levels like a few others”

“Want us to be brave in possession and we were too safe first half”

“This club has taken over my life. People will never get their heads round the emotion being involved like I am”

“Apology to Mark Robins for the Klinsmann dive after the goal. Just sheer emotion”

“Put ourselves in a fantastic position”

“When we don't play well we dig a result out. Massive respect to the staff and players”

“Eel fit for Northampton”

If I'm honest I wasn't keen on the direct bit but the bloke behind me was shouting for it (geritforard). Then the goals came from great football. I'll take the football every time.

Thanks Roy you legend.

I really can't imagine United without Chris Wilder now, and I don't want to.

I don't think you will need to worry Ty. Whilst like the vast majority of us, one day money might turn his head, he is at heart one of us. We all speak of the Bassett era or the Warnock era. What if he can create a Wilder era?. That is something you can't count, can't quantify. It's something that's still there after the fame and money are distant memories.

Oh, after the 'Klinsmann dive', I think we do!

We were going nowhere until the double substitution. Even then, while we were re-adjusting, I thought Coventry were re-invigorated and seemed to be going for all three points. Leon Clarke, WTF? But as usual, Pep Wildiola got it right.

Not everyone's cup of tea I know but it is an important part of the game and we can play both sweet sublime passing football on the deck ( Oldham excluded ) and direct when needed. All good teams combine the two.

A bit like we did last night.

He's one of our own, he's one of our own, he's Chrissy wilder, he's one of our own. Absolutely loved wilder's celebration. I've not seen a manager with so much passion at BDTBL for a few years!!. Utb

Not just Wilder but Knill deserves a load of praise too. I hope Knill sticks with Wilder and doesn't fancy a pop at managing again anytime soon.
