Greenwich Blade
Hitch-Hike General
At Leicester in 1990 I spent most of the first half worrying that we were going to get a points deduction as a result of those frequent pitch invasions, not helped by Piggy Hodge wandering around his area quite obviously concussed. I kept saying to my girlfriend that if he'd been hit by an invading Blade then we could be in big trouble. Thankfully it turned out to be Tony Agana's knee that had knocked him into the next division and left him trying to save the wrong ball when Wilf Rostron had a shot from about 45 yards out.
