Anyone noticed throughout the season they're 2/3/4 x longer than any of those Adkins or Clough gave and regardless of result they're a delight to listen to.bet the Radio Sheffield lads actually look forward to seeing him..

Yeah but a 20 second Adkins interview lasted 15 minutes.

It's called the Goose Effect.

Don't say that some clever twat who think he knows it all will be on here saying he repeats himself , as he did with Deadbats posts, which could be shorter .

I could listen to Wilder all day . It's better than have a audio book in the car .

The guy is a inspirational speaker . Love him to bits . Never talks bull shit . His interviews ain't long enough .

he comes across as quite humble. never criticises the opposition or the refs.. i like that.

Never criticises Hanson or Clarke either, who I understand are useless and derailing our promotion push.

:)

If ever anybody slagged off or criticised Hanson or Clarke in front of Wilder , I think he would go ape shit .

All this moaning about our forwards , also questions Wilders ability to purchase the correct sort of players .

I still come back to that if anybody asked me , in the past , which two players always caused the Blades problems it would be Hanson and Clarke . We signed them both .

He's absolutely superb, on and off camera.

He is very classy. Always measured with his responses to questions, always looking to praise rather than criticise players, always fair to the opposition, but also always willing to call out poor team performances.

I just hope/pray his approach to the job will continue to make him successfull in the Championship.......and beyond.

Look at his interview after our game away at notts county last season absolutely brilliant. Passionate or what.ntfc legend forever
When I saw this interview, in pre-season, I was filled with optimism about the season to come. Fantastic interview, full of honesty and passion for the cause.

His interviews for us have been full of honest assessment of what has just happened, even in defeat or after tricky draws (Oldham for example) he's been honest. Obviously, its a lot easily to do the press when your team is top of the table but that hasn't always been the case.

I never judge a manager on his press interviews but it is refreshing. My personal favourite that still has me laughing to myself. "My players......my players are proper players".

Firstly, I love listening to CW after and before games.
I I will be interesting to listen to him over a season when maybe we are not top of the league and finding life a bit tougher.

WHF's re runs lasted a lot longer.

To be honest I never listened to Adkins (only catch Wilder if he's on before I get home from the match) but the bloody synopsis form the great man gave the impression they lasted for hours.
Perhaps it was his explanation of each bullet point that dragged it out!
