When is P day? 25th of the month, unless it falls on a weekend or bank holiday. So I've just had 2 in a roe Friday 24th pay days woo hoo!!

Win tonight and there is a remote possibility that we could get promoted next Wednesday.
P day - 8?
Just imagine that. Come on Blades!

Presuming we win tonight, we'll know on Saturday if it's still on. Fleetwood would need to lose both on saturday and on tuesday

Fleetwood are away at Oxford on the same night we play Coventry. So that could be a cracking night of tension, ebbs and flows and we could, in theory, be promoted.

(Also need Scunny to drop a point)

patience , grasshopper
confucios say man who sit in tree is not necessarily a branch manager
we will be promoted in a fortnight, or two weeks whichever comes first

I have a distinct feeling that The Malt Shovel or NBC bar had better get extra stocks of their finest ale in..

And Miss Northampton had better prepare for the night of her life...

Soz, but until I see that P next to our name I'm not confident.

If there's one team that can bottle it, it's us.

Oh I agree completely; as a Child of the 70s I know just how much we can be hurt by those we love....
But, for once I do have a small degree of confidence in P, if not T ;)

Could be Coventry next week but I hope it isn't. Wednesday night when we can't go out on the lash afterwards? I'd rather we do it at Northampton or Port Vale.

Northampton is the earliest, right?

If Fleetwood lose two and we win two, it's done?

We're actually 180 minutes from the Championship?

Crikey bob.

No, Coventry is the earliest.

When I'm away, which means it will happen.

At least I'll get to find out what feeling equally happy and gutted at the same time feels like.

Quite right. I didn't factor in that Fleetwood will be playing for a maximum 15 after they've played two.

Jesus Christ 90 mins away potentially.

as of this morning I predict Port Vale. I won't be there (working) but not too bothered about that.

Interesting to see how this view might change over the next 4 or 5 days based on results

Nope. After Saturday we play all our games on the same day as Fleetwood !

April 8th it is !!

But not the same day as Bolton. Over Easter they play Sat and Tues.

And we play in advance of Fleetwood on Easter Monday, we could be promoted with a Fleetwood loss or draw that afternoon.

Would be fairly unlikely, but if Bolton lose a couple, Fleetwood don't, and Bolton end up 3rd it might be possible for us to be promoted Easter Saturday after a Bolton draw or loss.

In fact it's more likely that we end up winning the title (assuming we do win the title) whilst not playing on that basis...

Play same days as Fleetwood so P day will be a day we play and before the Bradford game( Northampton I'm sure will clinch it).

As for title I reckon at MK as I don't see Bolton slipping up except at Southend and its fate we can sort it there!

Chessie for trophy presentation.

Jobs a good un.

I keep saying it's going to be be the Coventry match, but only had 1 person agree so far.

What are people's thoughts now?
UTB

Am I right in thinking if we beat Coventry (likely) and Fleetwood lose at Oxford (how could Rosler hope to match the wits of "Tomorrow's Man" Appleton?) then that's us confirmed as promoted?!

Yes.

No ifs, no buts. We win, they lose, we're up.

And we now need 13 points only for the title as well...
