The other day I was looking for a previous thread where someone had summed up a Wilder interview, just after Brayford got shipped out. One of the quotes was along the lines of "the shirt's Freeman's". At the time United fans were discussing who we should bring in and had doubts about Freeman, probably wondering what Wilder was thinking. Wilder didn't even flinch, he even signed someone as 'cover' for Freeman in the form of Brown. The mans a genius. Credit to him and the staff, but Freeman deserves a lot of credit because Wilder has always said he wants players who are hungry to well for this club. For Freeman to get the vote of confidence at that time, when initially being transfer listed, means the lad worked his bollox off FOR THE CLUB thus being rewarded for the effort by Wilder.
