Been a bit sloppy and flat since the second went in.

Nowt stupid united, nowt stupid...20ish mins left

Making result, today was a potential banana skin and the players have walzed it. That's it we are up now

Play off's guaranteed even if we lose the remaining games which we won't. Pressure back on Notlob & Fleetwood.

Very comfortable for the first 75 minutes. We played some beautiful one touch slick passing football, maybe tried to overplay it a bit, almost show boating trying to walk the balll into the net.

For the first 75 minutes Millwall were really dissapointing, they looked tired and disinterested, no where near as good as Charlton

BUT for the last 15 minutes we tried to preserve energy by settling for the 2-0.
We invited Millwalll to attack us and at last Millwall showed some threat and urgency.
Our defence was put under pressure the last 10 minutes and Millwalll probably deserved a goal.

But no complaints, another good display and a deserved win.

Nobody to blame but themselves - they had two glaring chances and missed both. Would have been a horrible finish if they got one, as we'd shot our bolt after 70 mins.
Shot bolt because of running our legs off or just switched off?
I remember at Charlton that we faded in last 10 mins because every player gave 110% for first 80!

We earned the right to a dull final twenty minutes.

With the amount of football we've played so far, and with the importance of fixtures to come, you can't really argue against dropping deep and seeing the game out. Don't think Millwall looked like getting back in it as much as I hate inviting the pressure. Sloppier in possession than we've been for most of the season too, but yet again some of the football we played is absolutely beautiful and we've played a side challenging for the play-offs and made it a routine win.

As I've mentioned before , average is 21, 067 , more than Bournemouth , Hull , Burnley , Watford and Swansea ..and the opposition isn't Manchester United or Liverpool , but Bury and Fleetwood

Brown nose time , just seeing the large badge of Sheffield United , seen a million times before of course ..but it has to be up there with the very best designs in England I think .strong , bold , and meaningful

Good Thread Topic perhaps ?

Latest sour grapes from an opposition manager, giving us little credit:-

<< Millwall boss Neil Harris reckons set-pieces were his side’s downfall in tonight’s 2-0 defeat to Sheffield United..etc >>

https://www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/...easons-sheffield-united-bolton-will-promoted/

<< Asked if he felt Simpson should have sent off the Blades defender, Harris said: “I did. He added: “Wrighty is a great lad and a really good player. But as much as you don’t want to see red cards, you’re talking about violent conduct on a football pitch. If he forearm-smashes him it’s a red card. What’s the difference between that and taking him out with a volley?

“So, professional tackle? Yes, by a senior player. Referee getting it wrong? Without a shadow of a doubt. There were big moments and that was one. At the other end Lee Gregory’s one-on-one chance is a huge moment, as was Shaun Williams’ chance from 10 yards. That was the difference between the sides. They took their chances at key moments and we didn’t.” >>
