Why are we even comparing ourselves to these pie munchers? It's an unremarkable town in Greater Manchester. How would they possibly have a bigger fan base than us?

Sorry mate ....... I'm going to have to issue an official caution to you for your use of the 'M' in the UTMB phrase .......

I hope that you weren't insinuating 'massive' by the use of the 'M', because clearly there is only one MASSIVE football club in the world and we know who that is ......... :eek:o_O

You should know better at your age ;)

Isn't this a Porktalk conversation?

Who cares how many BW supporters went to Oxford?

I think it's because their fans are disputing Karl Robinsons claims and insisting that Bolton (wanky) Wanderers are the biggest Club in the Division ..... o_O:rolleyes:

They have delusions just like our pig scum neighbours in South Barnsley ...... :D

Darth, as you well know the 'M' stands for 'mighty'. ;)

On a more topical note, does anyone really care who has the most supporters? It's tiresome, infantile, and if it had any relevance, then wait until the likes of the two Manchester clubs come our way, or, come to that, Arsenal, Liverpool or any of the far larger teams that we will, eventually, regard as our peer group.

The game was televised
That would have knocked about 500 off

I think Bolton would have taken about a 1000 if not televised

If those clubs had gone over 90 years without winning a major trophy and six years in the third division then they may struggle to pull in over 20,000 each week.

We've not had a great deal to be proud of over the past 10 years but one thing we can take pride in is our support.

Agree with that completely mate. I suppose my point is rather than get hung up on who's bigger, just focus on who's doing well? If the idea of bragging rights has any merit surely it's where you're placed in the league? An example being little old Bournemouth, in my view that club has done spectacularly well to fight it out with the Prem's best and maintain a Premiership presence.

I wouldn't normally. Some Bolton fans were on here giving it the big one last night. The thread was deleted (so context lost), but I'd already taken the screenshots to wind them up, so here they reside!
