Anyone heard about us building an office block between the kop and south stand in the summer?

Office block and accommodation on corner of Cherry Street and Shoreham Street is all that's been made public recently which is what I think you are referring to. Big thread on here recently

Heard nowt else

There was an article in the Scunthorpe programme about potential structural changes around the ground. I'll dig it out and see if there was anything in there.

As well as filling in the Kop/South Stand corner - which is long overdue - we need to sort the kop itself out. The posts are ridiculous and it looks like a non-league stand from the outside. Rest of the ground is very good though.

Took my Italian mate yesterday.loved the ground thought it was fantastic.

Need a new Kop, new bogs that don't overflow and make you retch when having a piss, new bars so you don't miss 20 minutes of the 2nd half when purchasing HT refreshments and get rid of them fucking poles.

Oh the Kop needs gutting and starting over again.

The seats don't recline and they aren't orthopedic, plus there's no drinks holders. Plus there's nowhere to charge my ipad.

I demand my "facilities" when I'm watching football for an hour and a half.....

Must admit be nice to have seats and space like the Emirates and MK ground

Where's the fun in that? Be serving prawn sarnies next.

Could save on paying for half the seats on the "new Kop" by having the back half as safe standing

The rails required are, I believe, more expensive than the current seats. It would also fail to solve the problems of the supporting poles. That's without thinking about anything else although some would want cheaper ticket prices for standing costing the club even more money.
