A few years ago (2008/09?) we broke the record for the highest number of goalscorers in a given season. I know we wouldn't necessarily be close to that this season due to not using so many this time round, however I started thinking about how the goals have been shared around the team this season.
Of our starting XI last night, only O'Shea hadn't scored a goal which he duly corrected by the end of the match. Additionally, 5 of the players on our bench have scored this season. That means 15 of the 18 in our matchday squad have scored. Not bad going and shows that we do spread things around. I guess it would be good to see more breaking double figures, only Billy has so far with Freeman currently on 9. Get it sorted Wilder!!!
