Spend the money on the first team, anyone any good out of the academy plays for someone else.

It is a waste of time and money.

If any have a few spare moments its often worth watching the bundesliga highlights on ITV4 and how they play. Even the teams we've hardly ever heard of attack with pace and go from box to box and have a shot in 6 to 8 passes. It makes for lots of chances on goal each match.

Its not hoof, they have very good technical players and they do wild things like attacking the near post and forwards make runs to receive a pass. Its almost the opposite of how we play sometimes with lots of slow build up with passes side to side and backwards before eventually having a shot. Not saying which is right, depends how you like your football, but their record in world cups probably means they are doing something right.

Interesting how by attacking quickly they often don't give the opposition defence time to all get in position which leads to and end to end eventful game. If thats the way they train their players there might be a few good up and coming ones in their B league worth a look at or taking on loan etc.

I think the highlights may be deceptive. I watch full games and they can be quite tactical. They do have some good attacking players though.
