Libellous? At no point have I libeled him. I maintain he is not a crook in any way imaginable. I maintain he hasn't taken money for his own purposes and where he is concerned, is not entirely honest in interviews and fails to learn from past problems. Have a look at the reactions the last time he did a piece to camera. You'll find countless postees doubting and criticising his direction and integrity. And even McCabe will doubtlessly attest, the past six seasons have drawn deserved flak on any number of his daft directions, appointments, acquisitions and sales.

Pommpey . McCabe saved this club after a disaster list of chairman and board members .

To be fair to the McCabe family , they have kept us afloat , whilst others would have raped and pillaged us as a club.

Ok the bloke has made some mistakes , but finally got it right were it counts , manager and on the pitch ( Desso ).

We have to be careful for what we wish for . I am sure Mrs McCabe has said many a time , call it a day love , you are not appreciated . Thankfully he is still in charge .

Let's give the bloke some credit for once IMO.

Also Desso pitch again IMO has been a great investment , better than the mud bath Currie and co had to play on.

McCabe has presided over a lamentable period for this club. It's only the past eight months which counters that. From the moment we were relegated, I don't think anyone could predict we'd drop further and stay there for six seasons, going through as many managers as alco has fingers on one hand. The only consistent element throughout has been him, and I am pretty sure he is aware where the buck stops.

I remain entirely unconvinced by people's assurances re: Desso and the like. People will just have to live with that. I am concentrating on what is, to me, a brilliant opportunity to go up and whether we stay up depends upon the promise of investment in the team. I hope if, as you say McCabe is our savior, both he and HRH get some cash ploughed into what is patently a manager who has finally what it takes to uphold his plans to keep us there. Then we might see how much of a great investment the Desso is. If we remain in the Championship then I will give McCabe credit, but again, the major part of that goes to Wilder because out of a collective of relatively unknowns, we have what seems to be a title-winning team. Not entirely sure Sharp, plus another year, will cut it against some of the more astute Championship defences, but we shall see what additions we get. If any.

Right on both counts.
I think you'll find that McCabe was as bad at prediction as everyone else but unlike most of us he has poured millions into the club to try and stop the rot and failed.
Apart from Robson, I'm not sure anyone without hindsight would have guessed who a successful manager for the Blades would (or would not) have been.
Even McCabe had to look after HIS families finances at some point and that's when he said quite clearly that he wanted the club to be more self-financing. and that's been the case for the last couple of seasons.
Now we have a chance to see if the promised financial backing does improve if we reach the championship.
In the meantime, the Desso pitch is supremely irrelevant to everyone but you

McCabe's a bastard .

As soon as he took over we were relegated from the PL .

The sharks , trolls and Desso lovers at this club drive me fucking mad

It's not closing time yet. He's not sat at the bar boring the arse of anyone who'll listen about his geeeetar skillz and his successful ex-semi-pro shitloads of cash car sales job for last orders to have been yelled out and he finds himself on his own. Then its home to take out the misery and anger out on some or other internet forum.

Spot on!

So what if he had, you got an issue with homosexuality or something?
I was just working if you needed to give him some advice on Dildo / ass removal. Thankfully you turned up right on time.

Oooh. Hurts so bad.
Still? Barney's on his way with the Vaseline and Pliers.

Why not put your song on for mood music, you can pretend to support United to take your mind off it whilst he gets to work.

Edit - I'll send him directions as you clearly don't know them. :)

Gay 'jokes' now. Keep going.

pommpey

I know a gay bloke who can tell what anything is just by putting it up his arse. So one day someone put a teaspoon up it, and he said " I know what that is, it is a teaspoon"

Then he had a carrot put up his arse, and he said "I know what that is as well, it is definitely a carrot"

Then it was decided to give him a real test, so he had a spark plug put up his arse, and he turned round and said "That's Champion"
