Tuesday night

AFC Wimbledon v Milton Keynes Dons
Bury v Bristol Rovers
Charlton Athletic v Bradford City
Chesterfield v Peterborough United
Coventry City v Southend United
Gillingham v Bolton Wanderers
Northampton Town v Port Vale
Oldham Athletic v Oxford United
Scunthorpe United v Rochdale
Swindon Town v Sheffield United
Walsall v Fleetwood Town

Gillingham could continue with blades aid taking out bolton
and Walsall continue their good form against Fleetwood
Another real test for scunny with rochdale
A win on tuesday could see us increase our lead
but as long as we win its another game less for the chasing pack

AFC Wimbledon v Milton Keynes could get a bit feisty.

Wouldn't it be brill if Oldham and Oxford, the 2 teams in the League beginning with O, should draw 0-0? If I were a betting man that would be worth a punt. Another would be a fiver on the Gills' Josh Wright missing a penalty against Bolton.

Oh yes, and we'll bloody stuff Swindon.

I'm glass half-empty to the extreme but I'm daring to believe that if we win and the chasing pack all lose the final nail in the coffin of their championship chances will be coming out of the bag...

its why I posted it

Has Holmes got constipation , didnt know that

In other news, there is another round of League 1 fixtures on Tuesday. The possibilities are mind boggling - rivals may or may not gain points on us, who'd have thought?

i posted it as I was unaware who played whom
thought others might not be totally aware of said fixtures

I must bow to your comical put down
your clearly well educated and much too bright for me, and most people on here

I have a cow pat where my brain should be so I'm not.

The last line of your post is what really matters, a win for us is another game less for the chasing pack.

just have to maintain our form , no need to go chasing games, from minute one just calmly dominate like we have been doing
play with confidence and calmness

I honestly believe if we win on Tuesday we could find ourselves at least 8 points clear at the top.

if gillingham draw with bolton and Walsall hold fleetwood as we win
the gap will be 10 points with 9 left

meaning making up more than a point a game just to catch us over those last 8

double figure lead would be a huge psychological lead
and if fleetwood and bolton beat their best period this season and averaged 2 points per game in their last 9 and get 18 points
we would only need 8 points from the last 8 games
