He's proved me wrong this season that's for sure.

I just saw him as a back up in a crisis if we were keeping him. When he went on loan to Mansfield a year or two ago, and didn't really impress, I thought that told you a lot.

However really pleased he's proved me wrong. Special mention for Wilder in offloading some of Brayford's wages to play someone who has contributed more.

I'd written him off after last season, but he's been one of our best players so far. He makes things happen when we need it the most by busting everything to get forward.

Oh so important to us this season; he's a two-for-one player for certain. Without him we would not be at the top of the league. As influential a right-back for us as was Walker. The difference is that Walker was our best player my miles ahead of all the rest; Freeman has much better players around him.

Top player for us this season. Spoke to him once when out on the piss shortly after he signed, seemed a really nice lad and I sensed then that he wanted to do well for us. Chuffed for him.

I get your point, although personally I thought Naughton was the superior full back at the time.

So where did that most improved player go and does anyone want to change their mind now?
Footballer with many different atributes to his game. Mobile, heads the ball well, bent many a superb ball down the wing for runners, links up play and SCORES GOALS as well as providing assists.

Superb tonight.

Funny how he scored that goal - I've been urging him to shoot for ages when he's in those positions, but he crosses every time. For his goal he crossed it again.... but scored!

Won the pen too.

Really influential player for us. If you play 3-5-2 you need wing backs who produce, and that's what he does.

Next week Chris Coleman is due to select the Wales squad for the Ireland game. While I don't think he is Gunter level, I do think he'd be a useful back-up to Gunter for the right-wingback role. And I'd suggest he's more suited to stepping into that than right-back Adam Matthews, who's been in and out of the Bristol City team this season.

Never knew he was Welsh, was he born in Wales or qualifies because his Granny once threw her knickers at Tom Jones?

He was superb last night, bar him not shooting in the first 10 minutes,a 9 out of 10 performance

One positive today, he made his 200th career league appearance.

Deserved to come on and play in the PL and actually put in two really positive attacking runs.

Sure he will be off to pastures new in the summer, will go with our very best wishes

Apart from Billy he was our player of the season for me in the League 1 promotion season. Got unlucky with injuries in the Championship but was always at least very decent backup to Baldock. A player that I’ll always look back on fondly, despite a few of our fan base calling fat after 1 bad performance.

If we have some dead rubber games at the end of this season, I'd play him to see how he fares. Still think he's a great player and may be worth keeping as RWB cover.

He's done a great job for Utd and I'm sure he'll leave with everyone's thanks and best wishes but he's not good enough defensively for the Prem - similar to the levels of Naughton and Lowton.
I could see him going to Forest Utd they sell Cash over the summer.
