They were terrible, that is trueCan I mention marginal losses? Like players, for example?
What's your view on marginal gains like Connor Sammon and Martyn Woolford?
pommpey
And it happens on the Desso and elsewhere which isn't Desso. So the gains are not attached to the Desso. If that were the case, we'd lose every away game.
Please try not to attribute credit to an entity where there's no tangible proof of its effect. The midfield plays good this season because we are well rid of the luggage we were supposed to be satisfied with as replacements for the vanishing margin of quality we used to have. We have acquired players whom no one had any certainty about and have a manger who knows how to get the best out of. And they are turning it on, Desso or not. See our league position? That is because we have won eight games away, and drawn three, all on non Desso pitches. Your argument is invalid.
We have had results at Gillingham, Wimbledon, Chesterfield and Shrewsbury but to name but four, all of their playing surfaces less than ideal. Tell me where that factors into your argument that the midfield can't play on shit pitches.

I bet Shaun Miller wished we had a Desso instead of our former pudding of a pitch, which was directly responsible for him snapping his ACL,he would not have suffered that injury on the Desso
The pitch was ok actually. Were you actually there?
We faded badly and were almost hanging on at the end. Crappie pitch didn't help but we never played as a team and all three goals conceded were very poor.
Even the support was mediocre. More than 50% of the crowd but we never managed more than one half arsed song every 5 minutes. Not been to that many aways this season but I didn't particularly enjoy yesterday.

As long as it hampers our chances of being promoted.
Of course.

PO1 or PO2 whatever, not in S2!Fan wishes for poorer pitch. Only in S2. I think he drinks a bit too much rum. Best not to encourage him. He used to have only one topic but has now extended his repertoire by 100%. There's only so much daftness one messageboard can take.
You got the medical report on that?
How many players have played on our pitches and not suffered ACL injuries. How many have suffered ACL injuries?
If you are basing your requirement to spunk £1.2m on the latter divided by the former you are McCabe and I claim my £5.
You'll have to do better than that.
pommpey
Even if I did produce a medical report or any other evidence you wouldn't change your view would you?
Produce it. You have claimed that the old pitch was the cause of it. I am simply asking if you have any evidence to support that claim, or is it like much of the rest of the supporting evidence, completely groundless?

Planet Hornblower must be a strange place. How's about you prove evidence that The Blades (Kevin McCsbe) were potless and had to sell Jamie Murphy to pay for it, as it seems that your endless repetetive posts suggest
Let the Lane rot. Buy center halves
It is my opinion that the old pudding of a pitch was responsible for Millers injury, you disagree fair enough

Fuck me! He's back! After having his cover blown as the Bladesmad duty dickhead, his arse served on a plate by Tyler et al and laying low until closing time, the board's ex-semi-professional is here to offer his ten-pennorth worth of fuck all on the pile-on.
Off you go geeeeetarman. The room marked 'fuck' is in that direction.

It is my opinion that the old pudding of a pitch was directly responsible for Millers ACL injuryNope. These were your words:
You're obviously ITK. Lets see your working out.
pommpey
So its not 'directly responsible'. Just 'summat off the top of your head'?
Okay.
pommpey
You are amusing Hornblower. How are you getting along with the new submarine's?
Have you finished them yet?
So what did you think to the Desso, on your one visit?
Okay. I think aliens broke Brian Smith's leg. I mean, I heard the crack when he went in for the tackle, but aliens did it.
pommpey
Happened right in front of me,no laughing matter for Brian,he was never the same again, that was on another shocking surface
I heard it from three quarters of the way up the kop. And AFAIR, it was a dry day with the pitch in decent nick.
Why don't we see injuries attributed to non-Desso pitches when we play away from home TF?
