.... that we're in talks for Cotterill, they've received no approaches for any of our players and that we can't get a centre half in until we've sold two players.

I'd settle for him on a season long loan if they won't sell. I do think we need that sort of wide player, and for continuity in the squad as well.

Am I the only one who thinks Martin is not that good?

Pre-match hour-long hair preen, coloured boots, from Man. U., number 23 shirt? Sound like anyone? Shame he can't play like him. Don't want to launch a personal attack on the bloke cos he seems like an alreyt guy but do we need to give him a shirt just cos hes from Man. U.? Michael Twiss anyone?
I personally think he doesn't offer enough to the team, there is better out there and he is injury prone.

Cotterill can put some quality balls in the box and would be a good addition to the team.

Would have to agree there robbie.

Although i can see where billyblade is coming from he is still young, and can grow into a very good player. When he plays he seems to play without much fear (Hence some of the injuryies that he has) and he is willing to run at players too whih is a bonus.

I just wish he would stop trying to be too flash and concentrate on the important things that he is good at.

My point is with blackie at the club i think if we can get him we should (For the right price obviously). he would provide us with another option for the wings especially if we cant agree on cotterill
 
Michael Twiss was signed, if memory serves me correctly, when Steve Bruce was our manager. Bruce used his connections with Manchester United to snap up the "promising" youngster.

This must be exactly as it happened!!!

Twiss was supposed to be the next big thing out of Manure, mentioned in the same breath as Giggs, Scholes, Butt etc. Truth of the matter was, he was pants.

For those of you who are younger than most of my clothes, this is where he is now.
