Feeling very optimistic following Saturday's fantastic performance. If we play like that we will beat the majority of teams in this division we come up against. Albeit it was 1 point instead of 3, the way we earned the point was particularly pleasing to watch.

The atmosphere at the Lane on Saturday was incredible - we need to bring that to the table now all the way to the end of the season. How many are expected at BDTBL on Saturday? Must be 25k+ again surely.

Bolton also look very beatable - their performance on Saturday against Bradford was poor to say the least.

Also - should we be just be looking at Scummy and Bolton or should Fleetwood now be on our radar?

UTB.

This will be a tough game, I expect Bolton to ask a lot more questions of us defensively than Scunthorpe did.

By all accounts they were poor in the first half v Bradford, but must have had something about them to come from 2 down.

Coutts carrying an injury is a concern - he would be replaced by Carruthers presumably, which would give us probably the smallest midfield in the division.

This is a bigger game than the one at the weekend, a win v Bolton does more damage than a win v Scunthorpe.

Bolton don't seem that great going forward, they just like to bully side, slightly better defensive record than scunny so gotta make those chances count, especially as they come on strong towards the later stages.

All about set pieces Bolton, 2 more goals from them at Bradford.

Wheater, Beevers & Madine big threats that we didn`t handle in the cup game over there.

We won't win. A draw is possible, and would be very useful.

I can't see there being as many blades for the Bolton game as there was for scunny.

I expect that many of the more part time attendees will have been disappointed that we didn't get the three points and will return to their armchairs. Sorry if that sounds harsh.
An part timers there on Saturday surely would have seen the performance and atmosphere and thought 'I fancy a bit more of that' - regardless of the result?

You'd like to think so.
But we are a quick win, instant gratification society these days. I think some will want to come back, others will feel they wasted their money.

People at Leicester are calling for Ranieri's head.

What constitutes a part timer? Somebody who doesn't see all United's senior games? All the home games? 75%? 50%?
What would you define a part timer as?

I genuinely hope he leaves Sheffield with an amputation-level compound fracture, the type that pokes through the sock. I want that almost as much as promotion

Feeling happy and amaible on this fine morning, Tyler?

Let's hope nothing comes along to dispell your mood of happiness and goodwill to mankind.

About five games or fewer, per season.

We need to put the Bolton 'keeper under as much pressure as possible, including the dark arts of verbals and digs. He dropped 2 absolute howlers on Saturday and will be low on confidence. I actually had to double check the line ups to convince myself it wasn't Howard in net for them.
Fleck looks like he's got a good old Scottish Begbie glower on him. Hope he whispers a few sweet nothings into his ear early doors.

Completely agree!

If it was an unconvincing performance then yes... But we played very well, and I think that type of performance will bring back a lot of the forgotten base who probably didn't think we were that good.

As a part timer I fully expected either the scunny or Bolton game to be on sky .
So to play it safe booked flights for Millwall , and look how thats panned out , and am in the process of booking for chessie , means me getting up at 3.45 am for 6.30 flights .
Were not all so lucky as to be able to trot down to the Lane when a "big " game comes up .
Not a look at me Bigger Blade than thee post , just a Blades post .

There's part timers and part timers.

I think when you live on another island and have to catch a plane, then just coming to few games is still very creditable

Aw diddums. Don't overdo it or you'll start a 'who has got up the earliest?' competition.

Gary Madine been spouting shit about Our Billy apparently, the usual 'fat' jibes.

I genuinely hope he leaves Sheffield with an amputation-level compound fracture, the type that pokes through the sock. I want that almost as much as promotion
Can't agree at all with this disgraceful post, it's a game of football FFS and to wish this on anybody is way OTT.

No excuse, I'm on the 6:30am flight this Saturday too, as I was for the AFC wimbledon game too :-)

Also have flights booked for MK Dons away.

I'm in D4 :-)
