Couple of late additions from their forum:

"It was great when the West Enclousure applauded the Blades at the end. That was a bit special. Proud to be a gashead."

"Always had a soft spot for the Blades. Have a mate who supports them. Proper club and I've always felt like they were like us with Weds being more like C*ty."

I honestly can't think of any other fans who have been so nice about us, that doesn't usually happen! Definitely have a soft spot for them now.

Were they now? Since when and why?

I don't have a favourite Bristol side myself. Can't say the thought has ever crossed my mind. Obviously I'm a bit odd.

Whilst you're at it, tell us your favourite Glasgow side, and Edinburgh side, and Manchester side and London side and seaside?

You must be odd. It's perfectly normal to favour one team over the other if you're into football.

Anyway:

Celtic
Hibernian
United
Brentford.
Scarborough

I have a favoured team for just about every city you can think of personally.

Bizarre. Only time i heard their fans was just before end. Awful atmosphere!

Not a great game. Few chances. They're v easily pleased if that's a quality game in their eyes!!

Good point and that's it.
Agreed - and I was in the Rovers' section. Thought we did OK but looked a small side. Wish Done would stop diving-embarrassing if that's the best dramatics he can do.

Things have definitely changed ,remember Twerton Park and Eastvillie ,it kicked off before during and after

Best of luck for the rest of the season guys, hope you lot go and win it and get back to where you belong. We ask one small favour though, if the city escape relegation give them a good hiding next season

Cheers brizzle. Yesterday was one of the most pleasant away days I've had in a long time. Your fans are a credit to your club and I wish Rovers every success.

And don't worry about us beating City. We generally do alright against them :)

You lads keep playing like that and you might be doing the old switcheroo with them. ;)

I know Blades fans can very 'accommodating' at times, but....

“Happy with that. right, i’m off to get my leg over.”

Celtic/St Mirren
Hibs
FC United
Fulham
Waikiki Beach ( shameless holiday boast).

They're too obvious. I can tell you my favourite other team whose initials are SUFC, favourite Scottish Division Two Team and favourite team whose name starts and finishes with the same letter :)

Correct, what a let down!! Another boast. Hawaii - dream holiday, didn't live up to my ,not very high, expectations. :(

It's on my itinerary for the next few years and a few people have told me it's a bit of a disappointment. As a well-travelled fella, would you recommend it or stick to the Caribbean?

To be fair I didn't sit on it , just saw it from above whilst on a helicopter tour around Pearl Harbor..... it looked double r8 from up there . The most memorable bit was the pilot telling us the details of the stricken US ships which lay unaltered to this day and are official War Graves for 3,000 souls, then pointing immediately to the verdant hills to his right and saying ' and that's where they filmed George of the Jungle'.

I went to visit someone I knew who lived there and knew all the places that the tourists don't go. So I really enjoyed it.
It's a bit American though.
And the flight is just so long. I haven't been to the Caribbean (on my list) but I suspect it's pretty similar to Hawaii in terms of climate etc.
Unless my friend changes her mind about leaving soon I'm not sure I'd go again though. It was a childhood dream (Hawaii 5-0) that I've fulfilled but I don't think it's worth flying half way round the world to see Waikiki.

Caribbean is a steady 28-34 throughout the year. A bit of a wet season, but it never lasts very long, liquid sunshine as the locals call it :)

Avoid the summer months, August to October as that is the height of the hurricane season, or at least do a thorough weather check. The beaches are superb, if I was recommending anywhere it would be Antigua and St Lucia (biased, I know), but it's all good except, for me, Jamaica. Didn't feel safe there at all.
