I went for Freeman too and before I'd read 5 pages of posts. Happily, it was very difficult because there are 5 or 6 genuine contenders. Billy's done nothing wrong, apart from miss the odd penalty, I love Fleck and Duffy, Coutts has been rejuvenated playing in this team with team mates who want the ball, but Freeman was gone at the start of the season, a bit part player for a season and half but he's probably the first name on the team sheet (we don't really have another RWB!).

Play the clip below (for all us older Blades)

They never actually attended a fire. A chip pan blaze at Chippy Minter's was put out before they got there, probably because they took too long singing 'Pugh, Pugh...etc'.

Most of Camberwick Green and Trumpton were Blades but Chigley was mainly pig territory.

I have nothing against Brayford at all, but I would say that we have moved on.

Our manager has his team, and it's doing ok. Freeman deserves a chance at the championship if we get there, as does Lafferty. I think O'Connell is one for the future as we progress and of ourse we need a CB next season regardless. EEL or not to be honest.

Wright will be moved on and thanked for his valuable service, so Brayford may well be an option if Wilder can't get a better player in.

Really feel like Brayford is to us what Fleck is to Coventry fans. We've laughed at them for claiming not to miss a player of that calibre but if he wasn't working then that's all that needs to be said. If Brayford has a good second half to the season and shows his fitness has returned, I would more than welcome him back to the side, especially if we're at a higher level. For now, I'd rather he stayed at Burton getting regular football while Freeman is performing and fits the balance so well.

As for the poll, I voted Billy. He's a step above League One and not just one of our best players, but arguably the best striker in this division. Felt a bit guilty about it though since Fleck is my hero.

With the events of the past month - quite a lot has happened.

Has anyone's vote changed? I'm expecting a few votes to change to Fleck and Wright if I'm honest.

1. Fleck
2. Sharp

Fleck has been immense he seems to be able to break up play and dictate tempo kind of a League 1/Championship version of Xabi Alonso/ Toni Kroos. However Sharp has to be up there a large goal tally can never be under appreciated.

Duffy could be up there but for me he is the most frustrating player we have. Shows absolute brilliance at times but other times he needlessly loses the ball, crosses poorly or over plays. I guess with a player like Duffy this is to be somewhat expected in the 3rd tier. If he was more consistently brilliant he would be playing a lot higher up the pyramid

Still Sharp because of the shit attitude from this forum towards him.

But John Fleck is, well, incredible really.

I'd go:

Sharp
Fleck

at the moment..but in the teams I played for I almost always used to try and vote for someone different to the top goalscorer, just to spread the love a bit and well, they'd already won something hadn't they... ;)

It's Fleck now. And it will be at the end of the season - as I predicted at the start!

I voted for Duffy. That'll probably change come May, as I think he's going through a bit of an inconsistent period, which is why having Carruthers and O'Shea able to come in has been helpful.

I think that shows the quality of this years squad. One player can have a dip in form and not only do we have replacements but the rest of the squad are good enough to cover individual poor performances (this isn't aimed individually at Duffy).

Last season was poor because we couldn't cover 10/11 poor performers.
