Well done. Good job.

It's about having a squad that can last a season. Can't be bothered to mention all the times we've got to big games and been without decent cover in a key area. No complaints now that we've got a squad where the bench can step onto the pitch and still come away with a respectable result. We were doing well for a period with Done up front, Lavery's done plenty to earn a start, and there wouldn't be much point in having signed Riley and O'Shea if Wilder didn't think they were worth playing.

Alright, everyone's going to be questioning whether we'd have won with an unchanged side, but we might not have done. It's a good point and Scunthorpe have done no better at home tonight. This is how you keep a side fresh and performing at their best. Just got to keep moving forward.

Still top of the league and would still be even if you added 3 points for each of Bolton and Sunny's games in hand.

So fine by me. Next few games are the crucial ones.

Tonight was just a case of ticking one more game off than anything else.

No complaints at all.

Put in a good shift, away from home against a strong home performer.

Take a draw and help increase our chances for the next two Saturday games. Win both of them or 4 points at least and it's looking good.

I bet scunny fans are really starting to worry about finishing in thetop two, if it was us, we would, dont think they will be looking forward to Saturday, not sayingwe will win (but we will) but they have been in the top two most of the season and suddenly they are looking over their shoulder, really looking forward to Saturday

Scunny were lucky to get a draw tonight according to a good friend. Bolton may win there games in hand who knows, id rather have the points in the bag. 4 points from the next 2 games we say goodbye to this shithole league and with a spine that can compete in the championship. After the first four games of the season who would have predicted this? No me either that wilder is a genuis anyway back to lurking fickle twats UTB

On my way back. Very happy with that display. Wilder made those changes to optimise our chances on Saturday and the team we put out tonight gave a good account of themselves.
Wilder is playing the long game (in terms of the season) and with 4 points from two potentially difficult away games, I'd say it's been relatively successful.

We will be content with a point tonight.
Bolton, happy.
Scunny, very disappointed.

Another round of games gone.

After 15 mins I thought we'd go on to win comfortably, but they grew in to it 2nd half and a draw was probably a fair result.

Fleck was excellent, twice the player of any other on the pitch.

Bolton away at Bradford Saturday aren't they ?

If we can beat Scunny we could be in a great position for the following week when we play them

Mate. FFS that avatar. First its Jimmy Squirrel with his ugly dial now its that useless alecart Guthrie.
Come on. Find a good pic to go with your good posts.:)

we have a game in hand against oxford as well i think which we have to win, but thats not for a bit yet lets just focus on scunny on saturday, just heard knill on the radio says moore has a broken nose but will be ok for saturday, says a draw was a fair result and a great point against a tough team.

Agreed. Thought Bristol Rovers looked a good strong side and a point from this one showed our character. Was impressed by Riley going forward, the lad looks a class act.

Absolutely. He more than fulfilled his role tonight.
Bristol Rovers don't tend to lose on their own patch, and they gave us a bloody hard game at the Lane as well. I'm satisfied with that performance, we just need to come up with the goods on Saturday now.

We have 3 impressive signings in Carruthers,OShea and Riley, not to mention Hanson. The test will be how Wilder best integrates them to our best benefit. Tonight was a good start. Billy got a bit of a rest and will be all the better for it,as will Duffy and Freeman. Good stuff.

Rovers are one of the best teams I've seen this year, fit and organised. The keeper is a dick though :)

I think it's a great result, given the 5 changes.

We have played them twice now, so can't get anyone in trouble, but I did parts/some of my badges with someone around the club. Hence I have been banging on about them. Spoken to him just now.

First half, the changes flummoxed them. Second half they were able to get a grip.
Fleck shouldn't be in this league. Far too good.
Wright, a class act. Can't believe he hasn't played higher.
Whole team very good.
Wilder is top bloke and very good manager.
Couldn't say anyone was a weak link. All players would obviously run through walls for Wilder.
Rates Knilly too.
Any team would be glad of our supporters.

He is a cranky old git, so praise indeed. Didn't have a bad word to say.

Yep correct pal, but they have to win those games of course

The Bladey Cap-Doffing tradition dictates that we say they will but we wouldn't and then ignore that we get it wrong.

Neither Bolton nor Scunthorpe ever 'bottle' the big games, you know...

Not checked, but have either Bolton or Scunthorpe got to go to Bristol rovers.

Scunthorpe go to Bristol the week after they play us.

Funnily enough, Bolton host Bristol Rovers at home the week after they play us.
