Why not nick one from a club we've actually got links with?
And why would we want to be nicking a Man U song by a 60's Manc pop band FFS?

So start thinking guys and keep them coming. We're on the up it would be great to come up with a chant/song that goes on and follows us on the up and gets us all going. Just imagine that 25k plus crowd going for it and ALL the Kop (and the rest going for it) letting themselves go with no inhibitions and worries about what others thought and being true and proud. COYRAWW.....
Another thread about suggested chants and songs. All very well, however I've never heard any of these waft around the stands. Don't get me wrong, apart from joining in with the GCB song, I generally sit quietly in the South Stand watching the intricacies of the game, but does anyone on here actually get involved in getting the crowd singing?
All I hear apart from GCB is the odd "United" repeated and the gold old and dreadful "Shoreham boys we are here".
I'm sure some of you will protest, but I suspect not.
I fucking hate that one.

Why not nick one from a club we've actually got links with? Not necessary this but the boys in Inchicore have plenty of decent tunes.

Im crap at remembering words to football chants or mis-hear whats being sung usually haha!
This 60s band I really got into last year have a song or two that lend themselves to a terrace chant..
Like this one...
Trishalana..sang as Trisha Lane absolutely lends itself to being sung as Bramall Lane.
The only thing is, its quite a Beach Boys'y type sound and vocal so whether twenty thousand Yorkshire voices could manage it is another thing haha!
It sounds good in the head mind!![]()

I am sure we could pull this off, have South Stand doing lead vocals, first harmony from the Kop, counter harmony and "oohs" and "aahs" from John Street and Bramall Lane Lower Tier joining in with the chorus, and then hand clap to the verse.
Should be easy enough to organise that.
