Love the bloke and all he's done so far, but he's not exempt from criticism.

- Starting McNulty was a bad idea. There's a reason Bradford wanted him gone and there's a reason he's never taken off here

- Putting EEL in the center of defense is a bad idea. He looks lost there. It's not his place. Why does Basham HAVE to be in the starting XI? Is something wrong with Wright?

- Against a relatively big team like Fleetwood (who were very good to be fair) is Scougall the right one to bring on? He offered nothing for the entire half from where I was stood

Tonight was an awful, awful performance. The worst since we went 3-5-2. I sincerely hope it's just a blip and we can pick our heads up again, but the last 3 results have me worried. I can't tell whether we've been found out by others, or it's just us slacking off, but rest assured the fools that have been mouthing off about the Championship next season have taken a step back tonight.

How do we sort this out? Thoughts?

Over last 3 games I feel like he's being haunted by the ghost of Nigel Adkins.

Done at LWB at Walsall.

Keeping him there against Gills.
Not bringing Wright back in.
Bringing Lavery off for McNulty.

Not bringing Wright back in.
Dropping Lavery.
Starting McNulty.
Bringing Scougall on over Riley.

What do we do in training?

Wilder shuts his gob tonight. Goes home and has a glass or two of whatever is his tipple. Goes to bed. Gets up tomorrow. Thinks about it with a clear head. Sorts it. We win the league at a canter.

Tonight was a bad night. It wants nippin in the bud and we need to win again asap to get that confidence and a touch of arrogance and belief back again. We will. Roll on saturday and dont beat urself up about it. Its just a blip and dont forget Utd never ever ever do things easy.

Playing fucking tiddlywinks judging by tonight's match.

Bring back Wright into the defence, buy a couple more defenders and play Done to play alongside Sharp (I think Done and Sharp have been the best partnership so far, with Dones workrate/ but nothing wrong with Lavery maybe stick with him). Imo

its in the managers handbook
2 games in 3 days , put fresh legs in , he did with mcnulty
hes yet to see what a useless waste of space he really is
he knows for sure now

The first half was poor no doubt about it, but why drop our formation which has been so successful for one we haven't played all season?

Swap McNulty for Done at half time and go back to what has worked all season, why play 4-3-3 with Scougall?!?

For me, Wilder is just as much to blame for that as the players. Obvious gigantic hole in the defense ignored, believing that McNulty is a footballer, and then bringing Scougall on against a team of giants.

Oh and then trying to bring Done on with 5 mins left. That one stunk of needing to use all 3 subs but no clue what to do.

Basham was our best player first half. He was the only one trying to drive forward from the back. Fleetwood let us have it at the back and our defenders thought it'd be a good idea to knock short little passes to each other, when really someone should be looking to go on them Maguire type runs in that situation.

A terrible performance. We just let the game float past us.

We need a spark. Lets hope Hanson can provide it. Sharp got bullied today so I can fully understand the Hanson signing.

100% spot on! It's worked all season, why fucking change it?

But with the new signings I can only see things getting worse before they get better.

His reaction to the Walsall game was understandable if, conservative. His reaction after the Gills game was unfair, totally misdirected and very wrong-headed. His team selection tonight reflected that. Granted he sees plenty behind the scenes that we don't, but based on the games we've seen in recent times, this was a horrible self-inflicted screw-up and largely falls at his door.

He's been near faultless since joining so is miles in credit, but I was really surprised at what he said at the weekend and what he did tonight. Teams come here knowing we'll cough up at least 2 good chances a game without any prompting. A team who defend well - credit Fleetwood as they really do - can sit in without much fear, even if they go behind because chances will come. That needs sorting and sorting urgently.

Absolutely shocking from Wilder tonight although I'm sure even if he got everything right this fucking arsehole football club would've done the same thing - throwing away golden opportunities is something we've absolutely mastered.

EEL should've been dropped. He was fucking useless BEFORE he shit himself and gave them the game with that pathetic back header.

Lavery has done nothing to deserve dropping. McNulty has done nothing to earn a start.

But bringing Scougall on - wow. This was the big one for me. Staggering. He's a total waste of space yet he seems to insist on bringing him on because he scored a few tap ins early in the season. If you're going to bring on a fourth midfielder, make it someone good, or someone who can play wide, because if it's someone fucking useless like Scougall he'll just clog up the space the three good footballers we have usually dominate. The fact we had no quality possession in the second half is directly linked to that change. Nothing Fleetwood could've done could single handedly explain it all, that's for sure. We weren't great in the first half but we were infinitely better than we were in the second.

But after those half time changes, he didn't do anything when it was clear it wasn't working - before their 2nd goal, let alone after. Even if it was just reverting to our initial 3-5-2 formation and taking Scougall off. It was as hopeless as it could possibly be and he didn't change anything apart from putting EEL up front for the last 10 minutes. What have we signed Riley for? Then to top it all he brings Done on for Lafferty with 5 minutes left!

Surely, surely to fucking God he has to make changes now? EEL has to be dropped. Wright has to start. Even Hanson probably has to go straight in.

When you see a performance like that you're gutted our transfer window is over - especially with us not signing anyone who can play centre half. Maybe Hanson will end up there!

I was fucking furious after the Gillingham game but felt nothing in comparison tonight. I think I already accounted for this result the second the final whistle went on Saturday. As I said, it's just what this fucking football club does.

Basham was our best player first half. He was the only one trying to drive forward from the back.

Which is nice to see until you lose possession. Then you see a right-sided CB who is way too far up the pitch to deal with the ongoing attack and isn't fast enough to get back.

Basham is too attack-minded to play where he's playing...And he's not defensive enough to stay put...So leave him the fuck out!

We are far ahead of where I and many others thought we would be this season but to see us slowly throw it away again from such a position of strength is heartbreaking. I hope to be proven wrong but other than the Hanson signing, which after watching EEL up front tonight for the last 20 makes total sense, I can't help thinking we haven't made the most of our position in this window.

If I could give you a kiss and a cuddle, I would. Because dems my thoughts n'all.

But you'll have to settle for a like, my dear.
