Yes but why would Man Utd sign him for their U23's? He'd be playing in the Checkatrade and end up back in L1. Saying that we had Leon Britton and I genuinely thought he was better in the PL than he was in the league below so there may be something in it. Maybe just not at Man United.

Are you suggesting Louis Reed is as good as Scholes, Beckham, Butt and Giggs? I think if Reed was good enough he'd be in the team, we play the right way under Wilder and in theory Reed is the kind of player he'd like in the team. The fact that he is says it all. Calvert Lewin was snapped up as Everton saw potential and are now nurturing that potential. Telling that no one has been in for Reed. I'm not saying he isn't any good but I'm saying the experts seem to think he isn't. Age has nothing to do with footballing ability.

I would say that the players you named above though were certainly physically stronger than Reed is at 19.

If you can't grasp the immense and undeserved support this club has had over the last 6 seasons of total fuck up you know nothing about what being a fan is in reality. Newcastle and the Pigs got 4 figure gates in Division 3 and they weren't there half as long as us.
