You had to go and do it didn't you, FETCH ME ANOTHER STRONGBOW!!!!
As always, Cheers Panchero.
I really appreciate the effort you take doing this pal, genuinely, but I cannot bring myself to click that link just yet.
We were beaten by a big, fast, clogging team, with one good footballer. I still need to work out what went wrong (more importantly, CW and AK need to work that out and fix it).
SHUT UP ITS BORINGthankyou @ wierdo
Remarkably balanced from them under the circumstances and fairly accurate. Out done by a better team on the day and credit to them but they won't finish higher than 10th.
I'm surprised as their calm summary to be honest. All seems fairly measured and fair.
Decent views, not what I expected at all. Thought there would be a lot of gloating.
Let's now draw a line under today. There will be nervy fans next Saturday though. Need to get behind the team whatever happens.
Agree with that and I really hope Moore wasn't too knocked back by today. Wilder and Knill have some work to do with a of the players this week though, on the mental side more than anything.
What a lovely bunch of fair minded supporters. Feel a little better after reading that. The most anticipated one of the season

While considering their tactics. Hopefully they will all learn, while we fans learn to be patient.
Beat the league leaders 4-1. Still moan about the ref.The most anticipated one of the season

But can't fault his effort. That's great. Thanks Roy and having been there today I think their fans comments are fair, the more adventurous smarter and more tactically aware team won.
We had lots of possession and get forward to the edge of their box quick enough but when we get there we just go sideways and fiddle about on the wings and it all comes to nothing. By contrast they drew us onto them and then tried to hit us quickly and make fast inroads into our box and got their just rewards. Their keeper was superb today, didn't put a foot wrong, I'd have him without hesitation, worth 15 points a season, ours had a mare and I worry he may have the Long syndrome.
Several teams have sussed how to nullify our 3-5-2 set up, draw us onto them get our wing back up high and then pinch the ball and get forward to our box quickly while we have few to defend it. We make it easy for them by just going sideways on the edge of their box, they just have to be patient and nick it when they can. No decent movement in our box and no little balls to play anyone in like they did. Billy didn't do much that was threatening today, nor at Southend, but can't fault his effort.
Don't panic Mr Mainwaring!
Think Colchester away 1982...........
