I have Bladesplayer - as an exile it's essential for match commentaries. I watch the interviews, the highlights, the extended highlights, but have never watched the full match re-run.

Does anybody invest the time to watch the full match? Especially a home match you've already seen live.....?

Funny you should bring this up, I've just invested in Blades Player today and watched the re-run of Southend as I didn't manage to get to it.

I'm not sure i'd re-watch a whole game that i've been to, mind you. Unless it was a successful play-off final! (Chance would be a fine thing!)

I don't get to as many games as I'd like to...BladesPlayer is essential viewing for me. I watched the whole of Saturday's game earlier today.

It's good to watch from a dispassionate point of view. I mean, I'm not worrying about the result like I would be if I was watching it live. I can watch quietly and concentrate on how we actually played. It's a nice thing to do.

I've never watched a full match on it. But I probably watch the highlights about 4 times when we put in an impressive performance. My cock looks like a chewed carrot by the time I'm done.
I enjoy the interviews too. The commentary is ideal for the away games I can't make. Although I find it's often about 4/5 mins behind real life so I have to avoid looking at my phone / tv while I'm listening

Yes to answer stringjunior 's question.

Whenever I can't get to a game (normally away games these days) I always watch the full match back the following evening, with a couple of ales or a nice cuppa if it's midweek.

Since I departed English shores eight years ago Bladeplayer is a lifeline to me. I watch every game without fail after I've listened to it live on the broadcast!

I love the fact there is no commentary on the full game, almost like being there if you squint your eyes a bit.

It's as close as I am going to get to BDTBL these days and I couldn't live without it.

Worth every penny to me!

I do use the full match videos to look up incidents that didn't make the highlights. The most I've ever watched was the first half of whichever game it was where Higdon got subbed off at half-time when he probably should've been sent off for the number of fouls he gave away. I had to see if he was as bad as I thought at the time. Turns out he was worse.

I've watched a couple of the full matches they are quite good. My only gripe is that the camera always seems to be zoomed in too close!

Sky used to this years ago on the red button, it was my preferred way of watching games. Not sure why commentators feel the need to constantly talk ("fill dead air"). I find it annoying. You're not on radio, less is more!

Having just watched the first half , it is great to watch without commentary and can see what you mean about concentrating on the game.

I've not watched the full match but have also used it to skip to interesting bits that haven't made the highlights. The extended highlights and the commentary are worth every penny for me.

Must admit I have never watched the full match. I don't have the patience unless I'm there at the live event, which I always am for home games.

To create the match day atmosphere when playing away highlights, I get the wife to walk in front of me and make me stand up just after kick off, just before half time, just after half time and when the board goes up showing how much added time.

She's also instructed to shout random abuse at my designated weekly scapegoat.

At half time, I throw beer and brown sauce around my kitchen.

It's just like being there.

I watch the full matches.

I open all the doors and windows and get our lass to stand behind me shouting "gerrit forrud" and "shit Done" at random intervals to recreate the match day experience.

Then at half time I pour a bucket of water on the bathroom floor before I go for a piss.

Great minds

I lock myself in my cellar from 3pm until such a time I'm able to watch the match without knowing the result.

Ha yeah.

Forgot to mention. I also make sure that I don't buy enough of the food I like, so it's unavailable at half time.
I also stand in the living room doorway for the last 5 minutes so I can save myself a few seconds getting to another room when the whistle blows.
