I used to think i'd just support Hallam or Sheffield FC, but in reality i've no affinity for those clubs now, so why would i in future just because SUFC had broken down?

I guess i'd either just become a neutral supporter or if a new club rose from the ashes, then i might consider supporting that.

Abiding memory from the blades would be half-time against Hull in FA cup semi final, bouncing around the concourse at Wembley hugging everything that moved, convinced we were going to the final.

If Ade Akinbadbuy can become a Blades Legend for one goal, then Bobby Bobby Bobby Davison is completely forgiven past antics for two goals.

Absolutely brilliant night given how they were going to get 'their own back' for the BDTBL game.

I wasn't quite at Leicester- delirious levels as I left the Sty, but I was one happy smug twat that night.

It was the nature of the strike that I remember for badbuy. While I appreciate his contribution of two goals giving us the win, I can't call him a legend. Neither is badbuy but what a goal.

I live half a mile from Hallam FC but I don't know if I could be arsed ad my heart wouldn't be in it.

I miss the old floodlights more than anything else at the Lane.
Those fucking searchlights on the edge of the stand rooves are so low they continuously get in your eyes.
If Heaven is a memory , it's the old floodlights beaming down on 43,000 packed into the Lane in Spring of 1971 , the smell of pipe tobacco & Bovril and 5 goals against our promotion rivals.
