1. Have you NEVER celebrated a United goal?

If the answer is yes. Go to Question Two.

2. Why?

Yes, all of our goals at Wimbledon this season when I was stood in the home end trying to look inconspicuous. I did manage an appreciative nod when Duffy scored, and uttered a "quite a good piece of footwork from their lad to be fair" to the guy next to me.

Admittedly a few times when we've been losing to some absolute dogshit in the League Cup and we've scored a late consolation. That and both of Dean Hammonds goals.

Millwall.....Old Den....Home end.

Exactly the same, but the arse of a Blade I was with did. Went straight to the nearest copper and apologised profusely for being in the wrong part of the ground and could we be escorted out of there. Sometimes the police are your friend :D

We needed to beat Bolton at the old Burnden Park stadium to get promoted
I was pissed and fell asleep when we were 3-0 down

I was woken when Keith Edwards scored what seemed to be a consolation goal to make it 3-1 in the last minute..............Yeah, wow, big deal !!!!

Little did we know but this was the goal that got us promoted as Hull City only beat Burnley 2-0 a few days later when they needed to win 3-0
And we went up by virtue of scoring more goals than Hull with both teams on the same goal difference

Incredible, is there nothing that beer can't do? ;)

Hope you did that in your best Dick Van Dyke cockney.

The play off debacle under Clough in the second leg, didn't bother celebrating when we pulled it back from 3-0 to 3-1 as the game was gone in first 10 minutes.

Yeah think this was the closest I came as well. To be fair I think I was still in shock from the first 15-20 minutes...

Away at Leeds when Montgomery scored. Couldn't fucking stand him and as soon as the ball hit the net my phone started. Remember Chingo, old time poster from BoM, laughing his tits off at the look on my face.

Under Adkins I realised that as soon as we scored it would just make the opposition angry... so it depressed me. I just sat there with my Neil Collins shirt on and cried into my Half and half scarf.

have to admit I have never celebrated the 89th minute 4th goal by Fred Priest in our 4 - 1 FA Cup Final win against Derby County at Crystal Palace in front of 73,833. I think this is mainly due to me not being a Victorian - but I will definitely put this right and am planning to celebrate it some time this week.

Applauded politely and nodded sagely with a comment of "good goal".

Did exactly the same at Chessy when we lost 3-2 there the other season. Not because I was fearful of their fans but because I was right on the aisle with a big line of coppers looking at me, so thought they would guess I was a Blade if I didn't react.

The answer to the first question is yes for all of us.

When you're 3 or 4 down and score a late consolation nobody celebrates.

I don't know where you get the authority to speak for all of us but I would certainly cheer every goal regardless of how many we are losing by.
I think if you are 3 or 4 down you cheer more as its probably the only thing you have had to cheer all game.

Yes twice, last time was when CLarke scored against Chessy as I had a 10er on 1-3 and the other time I think it was maybe Natan Blake who again scored a forth in the last minute to make it 4-1 when I had 3-1 again, the bastards!

And the moral of this story?
Go for 4-1 you plank! ;)

I've never not cheered but the one and only time I bet on a score prediction (2-1) and we were winning 2-1, and I didn't want us to score again was a very strange and unsettling feeling.

Have never bet on a score prediction again.
