Hi guys. Just wondering if there's any pics/videos about of Denis Gratton? Or no where I can find some? Thank you. X
 



I suspect you've already exhausted google search so I won't repost anything on there but that's as far As my detective work goes. I'm sure the resident anoraks should be along shortly.

I have googled. That's as far as iv got up2 now. I'm struggling with understanding this at the min. I'm usuless with the internet!lol.x

Looks like he only played 6 games for us before moving on to Lincoln where he made the majority of appearances - maybe he made a team photo from back then - hope you have some luck with it - may be worth enquiring on a Lincoln City forum too.

Given the time of day it'll be a while until the likely candidates see this post and it will drop down the list as other threads see more activity. Keep an eye out though as I'm sure the forum historians will get onto it and it'll pop back to the top when someone responds.

You could bookmark it in your browser if the site layout is unfamiliar to you. Good luck....

Thank you for your reply. I have 1 team photo of him at Sheffield United. Some programmes what he saved. My lads are United fans and wanting me to show them more pics of there grandad..proving difficult tho.lol. Did they film matches when he would of played?lol. X

My guess would be there would be the odd pathe news clip but not much more - again, as above, our resident historians will help you out more.

Great though the your lads are Blades - no doubt their Great Grandad would be proud :) - plus Lincoln are worse than us so they made the right choice from a family history perspective!

He was proud! As we are of him! My lad is only 7 and loves the stories we tell him! Just want to share more with them. He passed away in April. So want to keep him in there thoughts. X
