Que already at ticket office
Really hope we get a good crowd. Not that I'm knocking our already fantastic support. Mind we've had more than our fair share of poor performances when there's a big gate. Just hope we can send all the fans home happy and encourage them to turn up more frequently utb

Entries for the competition now closed.

If it is the one I am thinking of it is ancient dark and dingy and on a corner opposite the walls of the cathedral. It sometimes has tables and chairs outside from which my cousin when pissed, shouts at French tourists. Sometimes it has a selection of good real ale.

Ahh that would be The Bell and Crown. Second best juke box in town with a good chance of some Eighties Indie or potentially even punk (Lady Luck having first place status on account of it having The Meteors on the juke box AND live punk and psychobilly on a periodic basis). It is en route to the European coach station (future uncertain) hence the French kids. I would describe it as rustic and unaltered as opposed to dingy, mind you if you're used to the Opulence of Nether Green I can understand it.

Crucial question. Is your cousin a Blade? If so, we are in short supply (one in Whitstable and young son, one in Folkestone who won't have a son and my convert mate from Maidstone). It would be good to have someone local to talk Blades bollox to every now and then.

The only place in the home end of the ground where you can still buy two seats together is the Kop. It's going to be a big crowd today, should be an excellent atmosphere.

Minus 3k lower tier and about 2k upper tier we should be looking at about 25k.

I regret to say that he is the son of a former Chairman of the pigs but having seen his entire shareholding rendered worthless by successive changes in the club structure he became so disillusioned he went off to support Bath RUFC. I suspect that is to where he intends to retire. Strangely enough, as a staunch (to the right of Attilla the Hun) Tory about ten years ago he introduced me to the Steward of the Conservative Club who was a Blade and also a barman at the Thomas a Beckett, also a Blade.

I'm ditching the family on Boxing Day for this - what're the odds I can get a single ticket without restricted view?

Moved to L**ds city centre this year so had to relinquish the season ticket just as we get half decent...
?

I've lived all over the place and they've always let me have one.

I know loads of Blades in and around Leeds with season tickets and I pass through Leeds station every home game except bloody Boxing Day!

My office hours are pretty long so I can't make Tuesday night matches. In my opinion that meant a season ticket wouldn't be worth it if I can't go to Tuesday nights.

I've noticed how all of a sudden there's a few extra Leeds fans in the office since they decided they're going up...

Can I revise my 'tongue in cheek 1889' prediction please Snowman ?

I think we are heading towards 24444 :)

Cheers

Sean Shoreham is the winner. Xls attached. Where do you want the beer or the money?

Hi Snowman

Thanks for the notification looks like I got lucky!

Big praise for the other 25820 (only one better gate outside the Prem') Blades who attended today (minus 300-400 Oldham fans) and all those who made a prediction.
Thanks for your generousity, if possible may I sup my ale at The Brothers Arms, Heeley - I'll be in Friday night and after the match Saturday

I'll go for 23,102 next Saturday LOL

Lucky!? Lucky!? You completely spozzy get! Anyway, I thought it would be a good laugh and somebody could have a good Xmas or New Year on the piss. Well done. OK if I leave £40.00 in an envelope behind the bar marked "Sean Shoreham Winner" and I'll e mail you the private code for pick up unless they know you well enough. It's either that or deliver in person or cash transfer.

Fantastic effort Blades. If we go up, we are unlikely to get less than that EACH home game!

Thanks again Snowman - I'll raise a glass to fellow Blades everywhere. Please leave behind the bar and send code
