It doesn't take too much investigation to discover relatively old (note, not ancient) United facts.
It seems that in or around 1968 one of the songs heard at t'Lane was the following (to the tune of "Home On The Range") - "No pigs fans in town/No Hillsborough to sadden my eyes/Jack Charlton is dead/and the pig's fans have fled/and the year is 1889". I'm certain there's a Unitedite who knows this chant, or others with that little bit of linguistic smarts that are easy to remember and enables us to with gusto.
