Don't think he'd go.How long before a higher placed club come knocking? It would be just like McCabe to "not stand in his way"
We wouldn't stand in his way but only a top job would lure him away from his, yours a and mines dream job.Don't think he'd go.
Don't think he'd go.
Its the premiership that I wonder aboutHe knows his onions that's for sure. Wonder how he will do in the Championship ?![]()

And losing our players to Spain,Germany and Brazil for international matches, some on here reading these comments will be reassessing and wanting to stay in the first divisionI'm more bothered about the knockout stage of the Champions League.
ISC (getting giddy with too much decent winning football)
the knowledge that he and the club rose to the challenges ahead of them.
Good points re CW's own motivations but I was a bit worried about last the bit, that I've quoted above.
No obvious mention of geese, but I fear you are straying dangerously close to Adkins territory with the 'rising to challenges' stuff.
I will continue to monitor your posts for 'geese' and 'endeavour'.
No it's okay, no thanks are needed.....
Seriously, the challenges are uncomplicated, namely promotion and improvement, none of the quasi-nonsense used by Adkins, just the straightforward management style that everyone finds refreshing and can relate to. We've a long way to go, but we've got the management team capable of taking us as far as we're good enough to go.
I couldn't agree more. He says it like it is and no dancing around the handbags, pseudo phillosophy or management speak.
A long way to go indeed, but every journey starts with one small step.....
ISC (Worried that 'Adkins syndrome' may be catching)

That's the problem with us lot though. We've been like it since day one.It was an honest, hard-working post, showing plenty of grit and endeavour. Some people will moan but pressure makes diamonds. He has to rise to the challenge and thrive under pressure. For me, he still has to prove he can do it in the arena, Saturday-Tuesday- Saturday- Tuesday. It’s a long hard slog and the biggest room in his house remains the room for improvement. But we need to keep providing him with a positive platform to express himself.
