The first sending off was harsh but tackle on Coutts a disgrace. Might be why Gary Sinclair is playing I Predict A Riot at halftime! If Shrews keep this up we won't have a squad left over. They seem to think this is the fucking Somme the way they're going in.
Didn't look harsh to me. No attempt to win the ball and Lafferty's controlled it a few yards from goal. Even with the new rule changes it's a red.The first sending off was harsh but tackle on Coutts a disgrace. Might be why Gary Sinclair is playing I Predict A Riot at halftime!
Now Freeman injured FFS.
Not ideal, I think we have good cover for Dufffy. But Freeman and Coutts are two players who are a little bit hard to replace in our starting XI with the options we have.
Is this cynical from Shrews, if they injure one or two more of our players we have no subs left. Could be their way of trying to get themselves back into it? Need the third to settle things down.
What a shit second half. We should have killed it off but got complacent and cocky at times. Very disappointed.
Freeman back injury, hence being able to walk. Hope he's not too bad because we'll struggle to replace him , possibly Bash , I'd certainly rather see him at wing back than messing things up in the middle.Said in shoutbox, Coutts was sitting in the stand second half. Didn't look to be limping so while perhaps a little bruised, I think his reaction to the opposition may have been something to do with his substitution.
Knill was getting Scougall ready before Duffy indicated he was going down, so I'd guess that was something picked up in training/warm-up which they knew about.
And Freeman hobbled round the pitch unaided, so hopefully nothing more serious than a bit of bruising.
We created oodles of chances. What a shit second half. We should have killed it off but got complacent and cocky at times. Very disappointed.

thought shrewsbury played better with 9 than 11.. that would have ended 2-2 last seasonWhat a shit second half. We should have killed it off but got complacent and cocky at times. Very disappointed.
Sorted for you.We won't lose until NEXT YEAR. Mark my words.
