Che the prospect...how's he doing ?

The lads earning more money, playing at a higher level with technically better players still learning his trade , bet he is chuffed with life. And with United making a wedge out of it as well,I'll say good luck to the lad.

OK I think the issue here has been than Adams felt it necessary to stick the knife in as he left and when you do that you get a lot of people's backs up, with the comments we see here. If the comments he reportedly made about us, wednesday and brum are true I'm allying myself with the people who say he's a gobshite and I hope he's found out sooner rather than later.

While we're on it I see Murphy is starting every game for Scotland and they are doing Gordon Strachan so proud that he only has to worry about his yoghurt going out of date.

Strachan obviously didn't watch him twist Walker inside out in the League Cup Semi at the Lane. Man of the Match wasn't he?

Don't begrudge Che his move. Don't begrudge Chris (or Kev McCabe) selling him.

Amazing what effects this positive atmosphere brought about by the Wilder Revolution can bring about.

I don't blame Che for going to Birmingham. It can be viewed as simply promotion to a 'better' well paid job. The point is, we don't miss him at all. We don't need him.

I'd say he's doing about as well as you'd expect a 19 year old prospect signed from the league below to do. Good in bits but inconsistent, in and out of the team but a decent squad player. I think if the players on your bench are 19 and close to as good as your first teamers whilst having the potential to improve, that's a decent position to be in.

He always came across as a talented footballer with quick feet, perhaps needs to be more clinical. However everything I read or watched of him off the field just left me with the impression that he was really (really) unintelligent. He actually talks like someone who has had a lobotomy.

Serious question - Do people think we would be sat where we are in the table now should Adams have stayed?

I ask this due to my thoughts that maybe the togetherness, and team morale may not have been as high as they are now, everybody pulling the same way, wanting the same things for the team and not just for them

I think Wilder knows how important this is, even possibly sacrificing transfer funds in paying up Hammond and Woolford? And even possibly with the loan players that have gone out

... Just a thought

I usually hate reading into player's psychology, but it's football so it's to be expected. Thing with Adams is that he clearly had a lot of talent, and that's why he's stepped up, but he was never a clear first name on the team sheet in the way Murphy or Maguire were. You've got balance that against the great start he had for Birmingham and suspect his heart just wasn't in it at the Lane. And the less of yourself you give the better you have to be to compensate, and Adams just wasn't good enough to put in half a shift and still be a top player.

I was gutted to see him go because I hoped a new manager would get the best out of him, but so far Wilder's earned my trust and the players he's putting out are giving more than Adams did. It doesn't matter if that's because he was lazy or arrogant instead of lacking ability. All that matters is what they give you on the pitch.

Yu could be right. It's hard to know from a fans' perspective. We might have said the same about Freeman and Coutts but they've been reinvigorated. Adams has the talent, it remains to be seen whether he can apply himself sufficiently.

Birmingham, second city in England, average attendance 18690. Ok they have Villa and West Brom but pretty feeble for a club that has been in the Prem more recently than us. When we are in the Championship next year with 25000 at the Lane perhaps Che, if he's playing, will realise he's missed out on something special.
Of course I suspect his agent, for the sake of short term gain, has lead him by the nose.

Pretty fucking conclusive I would say. Still some of you lot will say "good luck to the lad" no doubt......

tbh, he's gone and I couldn't care less about the fella now

The only players that interest me are the ones that play for our club and players that CW is interested in bringing to our club

Players such as Adams, Harry, McDonald etc that didn't really want to be here I just don't bother with

Best to focus on our lads is how I see it

Warnock always seemed to have, if anything, a great team spirit amongst his squad. if anyone came in and upset this, they were sharp gone (Hayles(?), Cullip spring to mind). it definitely seems that Wilder is holding team spirit as a top priority and it's having an fantastic effect.

So good riddance to anyone Wilder sees fit to move on.
