Did you see their 'ground' on MOTD? It seemed to be just in the local park, just behind the fans behind the goal, there were football pitches with kids kicking about on them!
I did
Do teams have the choice to switch grounds still in the FA Cup?
I'd suspect they would do that if they won their replay and drew us out of the hat.

Only 7 hours and a few minutes to wait to find out

I think you can, the other option would be that they 'borrow' a league ground local to them.

I fancy lincoln away.Ive not been there for years.

Ahh, bad memries for me.
Last time we played at Sincil Bank in 1983 (i think) in an FA Cup match we lost 3-0, were totally dreadful and I discovered I had Glandular Fever.
Running to catch the train at Nottm station I couldn't believe how sluggish I was and the sweat? It was like I'd just taken a shower :o

They can only switch for safety reasons. If they do switch then it has to be to the nearest suitable neutral ground.

Bad memories, Ken. We decided very late to go to that game, left Sheffield at about 2.20 or there about. Hairy journey, got in the ground just after kick-off to watch a right pile of dogshite. After, we all agreed we shouldn't have bothered, back then we were just cock in cup games!

Brackley Town away for me, if they beat Gillingham in the replay. I seem to remember saying exactly the same thing three years ago.

Anyone not in the same division as us will suit me, because they all bore the shit out of me.

Non-league away will be ideal because I like groundhopping.

Whilst that would be ideal from a personal view, I hope we get a non league team at home. We get an easy win(hopefully!), they get a day out at a big stadium, and a share of a bigger crowd and possibly TV money.

Lincoln in FA Cup was a draw, think 1-1, we beat them in the replay at the Lane with a very late goal, if memory serves, from Stan the Man.

Think the 3-0 defeat was the previous season in the Group Cup pre-season.

Midweek league match in Sept 1982. Blade fan Gordon Hobson score the 1st goal and then they scored two more after the break. I was there.

You're right - it was a league match I was thinking about - 29th September 1983

Thought it was FA Cup -
