Though he may well be considerably more industry than finesse, that's part of what we need, and Monty can provide that upon his return.

Actually, if he is now on his game he would be a great back up to our too thin mid-field if we have any sort of run-in.

Not that I'm anticipating much of a run-in, but recalling a volatile, seemingly want-away player, who was also seemingly not bothered about playing for us for half of the season, really wouldn't inspire me.

Clearly, he's got no ambition either.

theres nicky law aswell, think he should be considered if injuries occured, possibly over squinny as i am personally just not a fan of him and dont see what he brings to the team

To be fair to him, we haven't been able to see any of that from him.

He has not been given any prolonged run in the side.

When he has been in the side he looked off the pace (mainly due to lack of matches) but then he'd get frustrated and be one tackle away from a sending off.

He wants a transfer to Liecester. Get him gone off the wage bill!

He stated he wanted to join Stoke. We just offered more wages I believe.

Is anyone really gonna pay him the 15k reported that he earns? If not, will he take a pay cut?

I think the answer to both will be no.

He has not had much of a chance to Impress & has not had a fair crack of the Whip in my opinion but from what i have seen so far he isn't much if any better than the players that we have currently playing for us at this moment in time IMO.

This is exactly what I'm saying.

He was superb in this league for Stoke last season. So why suddenly has he become a bad player for us, then a good player for Leciester?

then a good player for Leciester?

Wouldn't count on that part, the way a Leicester fan I know described his "performances" it sounds like he's carrying on where he left off at the blades. Good first performance, followed by not really doing much except moan.

Pity really, because he's a talented player when he wants to be.

Well opinions seem to vary on this subject.

But Holloway seems impressed with him.

Most of us think he's been absolute great. Usually the lad is an utter wanker but at the moment we love him because he's playing good. I, personallty, do not want him permanently though because once he gets his fat 15k a week contract he'll sit on his arse doing nothing again. But I wouldn't mind keeping him as a loan player so the minute he starts fucking about, we'll just send him back to you lot. :)
