Basham and EEl were our worst players in my opinion and how does Moore only merit a 6.5. One brilliant save held on to everything and a clean sheet. Fleck MOM for me.

Moore also dropped/punched a couple of balls in the second half where we could've conceded, and didn't have a great deal to do. I thought EEL and Basham coped quite well with the defensive reshuffle. Fleck was the best all round performer, but Billy edges MOTM for me due to the goals.

Pretty much the way I saw it too
All three of Fleck, Duffy and Coutts were very good - Fleck MOM for me too.
All had really bright spells and constributions to the game - busy and tidy in a midfield partnership

Although I wouldn't say Bash and EEL were "worst" - just not quite as effective

Stop being such a negative twat all the time, Sitters, FFS!

I see why you stated Billy MOM but in the first half I thought the movement from the front 2 was quite poor.
That's why we didn't click as well in that period. Playing blind crosses over the middle when a head up and picking out a pass should have been the outcome
Undoubtedly that changed second half and the two finishes were top draw from Bill
Done was a constant threat and even at 85 mins was running down the keeper then the full back from one side of the pitch to the other. Machine.

Fleck was a driving force in the first half as well as the second so that's why he gets my vote.

He was proper fucked after chasing the full backs down near the end ,the last thing he wanted was the ball again ,and Lafferty passed it to him and smiled. \lucky shirt couldn't make it last night so hes redundant now ,until we go to Derry :)

Ha - yeah, noticed that too - Done passed it back to him and then Laffers sent one down the line for Done to chase.
He only chased it with a stare.

Kudos to the ref as well. Those three early yellows scared the hell out of them. It meant Fleck, Duffy and Coutts could bring out their bag of tricks without fear of getting clattered.

And for realising that Paul Coutts was not part of "the shit" despite what the vast majority of fans were saying....

What I like about Wilder is he appears to be his own man. Doesn't listen to the shit spouted but makes his own decisions. He had Coutts on the transfer list for good reason but has managed him correctly and now we are starting to see a good player. Fitter as well.

“It was ok in the first half, we grew into the game and caused a few problems without really threatening.
Second half they scored a beauty early on and that was that. They had an extra gear, we didn’t and you could see our heads drop.
I still think there’s a decent team in that squad and there’s something to work with for the new manager, who’s first job will be to build confidence.
We need to remember Sheffield Utd are the form team and look promotion certs, so some perspective needed.”

They weren't that terrible IMO. Billy hits a worldy, then we go into overdrive for 15 minutes or so. But they scrapped throughout - they just couldn't live with us for a period when a true gulf in class showed. There wasn't anything wrong with their fighting spirit though. I'm backing them to stay up.

We were top class throughout mind, in terms of grit & endeavour - got so much fight & spirit in us now. John Fleck epitomising it.

Agreed. Got to give Couttsy plenty of credit though. He's shown character and risen to the challenge (and it is a challenge) of Tuftyball hasn't he? He could have easily thought "Fuck it" when Tufty told him (as I'm sure he did) "not in my plans, mate". Freeman too.

Bring out bag of tricks? I trust they aren't "Holding midfielders"?
:)
