We start every season as favourites for a reason and that's because this club has all the resources needed to take this division apart. Starting to look like we might just do it.

Credit to the manager and his team for getting the changes in personnel right, finding a system that suits and then allowing it time to build confidence.

The good sign for me is that we are still getting better with every game while on an unbeaten run of 8 league games. At this rate, by the time we get to Xmas we could well be pushing for if not top of the league. Would still like to see some more goals from the strikers, and remain concerned by the lack of productivity from them.
But after giving a team a lasting for the first time in a very long time I can give that an opinion a rest for today.

We, well certainly I, can't enjoy the season tho. I just can't stand tempting fate and recent history tells me we are nap hands at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

4-0 without either striker playing particularly well. A definite cause for optimism. The midfield was the best I've seen for years.

Their man blocked it with his arse otherwise it was in.

He did get a goal although it was offside but everyone had a goal chalked off for offside today it seems. I think even I had a goal chalked off for offside.
