Just seen that the Coventry game, which I believe is the last away game before christmas has been moved to a thursday night for Sky! Fucking ridiculous! A game that if we're still doing well we could have taken well over 3-4k too on a saturday!

Bit shit but at least it's not a south coast game.

I also don't understand how games that are often moved to midday on "police advice" to minimise trouble are suddenly able to be moved to 8pm (often Friday night these days!), then the next fixture is back to midday again. Man U's next fixtures against Liverpool and Man City are both 8pm kick offs, any other time (apart from when Sky choose) they'd be early games.

What does that say? We're worried about fan safety, but fuck it... $$$ Kerching $$$.

Without wishing to be pedantic (if ever!), Christmas this year is Sunday 25th December and therefore the Saturday before Christmas is actually Christmas Eve (24th). Meadowhall does open on Christmas Eve (so I am told). This game has been moved from Saturday 17th December to Thursday 15th December.

My fucking night is a Wednesday, even then it depends if the Mrs is in a good mood so it doesn't effect me.

in fact Id love to see us on skys friday night football , against Arsenal , or Chelsea

how is a thursday night game any more of a hinderance than a tuesday night game
our replayed game from this weekend v walsall will become a tuesday night game now

coventry is only an hour and a half away , nearly as easy on a thursday as a saturday
finish at 5 going on to 6 pm could still make it
