That's what the man behind me said when we were losing today. I take it he hasn't been to many games these last few years. Yes it wasn't great today, we made a lot of errors, but a point was a fair result and good to see Ebanks Landell make up for his error.

had a hell of a lot of shots as well hussey sounds like a brand new player from what i heard on radio sheff
 
Seemed pretty end-to-end (from following it online)? If so, the boring ineptness of the last two seasons seems left far behind.

Even if the quality's not fully there, at least there's guts, passion, desire & attacking intent there now. We're definitely moving the right way (even just going by the home games).

Up to 4th now, what with the other results going our way!

Under both Clough in season 2 and Adkins last season was easily the worst I've ever seen us.

This season doesn't come close.

He was on about matt dones beard as the worst hes ever seen...............take it he had a year off last term if thats the worst

Wasn't pretty but I think his hands were tied, tied and tied again.
Weren't we bringing the youths in when they shouldn't have been nowhere the first team.
The usual, finances dictate the Manager's selections.
I might be wrong... so any one who can recall with greater detail, i'd be happy to read.

It's all relative and sometimes fans make OTT comments in the heat of the moment.

A Pig has just Phoned Praise and Grumble and he said "Watching Wednesday this season is just like watching Parkgate"

That's VERY harsh!!!

Parkgate are a good team who play attractive football.

I've known people say that every successive year for a decade. It's attention seeking bollocks. Some people have a view that going to away games invests their drivel with some sort of special authority. I've seen and heard it for a long time.
 
seems like when pigs seem to ring up radio sheff they can never agree on anything even heard them insulting each other sometimes

Albert is a very good friend.
Him & Bruce have done so much for the club, the facilities there are fabulous.
Two good men who are true football people.
 



Looking forward to a proper report. Radio Sheff were very positive and I heard well over a dozen near dos before we finally scored.
 
It's a world away for the last two seasons. We still need to sharpen up defensively in midfield and our finishing needs to improve, but it's going well.

, Then again, you can understand it, team not playing for him, the trap door to the league below opening, and the radio pig interviewer saying to him in a cheerful voice (after yet another defeat) "Mickey, your thoughts on the game"

The only good thing about Adam's reign for me is that he run such a loose ship I got to get the full team plus subs by teatime the day before each game.

That meant that I'd got a good idea if we we going to be just piss poor or total crap and I could adjust my pre-match drinking levels accordingly
