Every manager makes signings that don't work out, especially when you sign so many in one pre-season. Admitting mistakes and having the bollocks to try and rectify it in 5 games is a positive. You can't get everything right.

We haven't seen the best of him yet. It was interesting to read in the programme that he was allowed to read a text message at 2:30 before the AFC Wimbledon game telling him his wife had given birth. Maybe he's a little distracted at the moment!

He has never been in the same team as John Terry, so I'm guessing it is Lafferty's.

We haven't seen the best of him because he hasn't played as a conventional left back yet. He's not a natural wing back, but he's done a job so far.

Thought this lad did well tonight. Looked confident with his touch and put in an excellent cross for the goal. Read the game well and defended well enough. Read a situation where he cleared off the line. Maybe playing full back is where he's most comfortable.

He doesn't look much better than Hussey TBH. First half he was awful. Second half picked up and did pretty well.

He played well second hard. Let's remember he didn't have much of a pre-season and came to us on deadline day. ffs, can we give the lads a break when we're winning.
