Get Law in for SQuinny.

Stead in for Sharp. Martin on left for Tonge. Carney on right for Cotterill.

Seem like good changed to me, depending on Martins fitness. I've been suprised Carneys been left out really, he'd been scoring and looking to create before he went on international duty!

Cotterill? He's been playing great, why would you drop him? SQuinny for me is a difficult decision, i think i'd keep him in though.

SQuinny is suspended and Cotterill hasn't done much for me.

Anyways, Morgan is also suspended, so think we need to ensure Ugo isn't put in the team :(

I think Tuesday and Saturday are perfect times to try out a couple of youngsters too, the fans won't get on their backs at these games.

id look at putting bennett back in the net, just dont rate kenny's overall game!

i think a new left back is needed as i dont believe either strech or naysmith are good enough, geary has been poor lately yes, but drop him for keef? not a chance, keef shouldnt be allowed in sheffield full stop never mind in the squad!

i like carney and martin on the wings, sounds good would love to see nicky law in the middle of the park! tongey and squinny have been poor and i really dont think speed has done a great deal at all since he has joined! his passing is woeful

as for upfront......... id ave to go for stead and id bring jordan robertson back and give the lad a go!

Brunty, we could get you on wing and me at Centre back instead of the suspended Morgs :)

Aye true, I still think Coterill is pretty good down the wings, he isn't afraid to run at players. SQuinny is suspended aye, but i don't think he should drop him, he's one of the youngsters. Aye you're right, fans never get on their backs at away gams, so it's a good time to experiment with the team a li'l.

Russia? China?

And if we're playing for the blades, i'll get in the middle of the park:D

It should come down to how the player in his position is playing, if say Law does come in and starts to play well for us then Squinny shouldn't automatically get back in. Should be the same with every position too.

I don't.

Just because his natural stance suggests he doesn't care, doesn't mean its true. Fair enough he's stopped scoring for now, does that mean the majority of our squad are lazy and don't give a toss?

In recent times, Beattie has been one of the few showing passion and trying to build some sort of rapport. He's out of form and had a few bad games yes, but the eagerness to drive him out of the club is frightening.

So I guess you haven't seen his attitude in training?

I haven't seen him in training recently no. Have you?

I'd rather have him in our squad than sell him personally, if he does have an attitude problem at the moment, then that needs to go or be dealt with. I'm not convinced he has though.

Tell you what though people, we'd have been much better off without "lazy" Beattie, its not like without his goals alone we'd be propping up the table ;) We've got Danny Webber returning who along with Chris Armstrong is so near in the scoring charts :)

Yes I have seen him in training. A good portion of the time he just doesn't pay attention and seems to be in a world all of his own.
Don't get me wrong I am a BT fan thats why I'm so dissapointed with his attitude.

How many times have you seen this?

If its the case it needs addressing, looking at the whole squad though, i'd suggest the majority of them are dejected and need a kick up the arse.

Still, the way some people are going off (and were before he lost form), I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't bothered/wanted to leave. The same goes for a few others too.

Lets just say I've seen it enough to know the attitude doesn't seem great. On the other hand I didn't see him in training when he was scoring goals so maybe he's always the same.

Quite a while now since i've had time to watch them training and theres been a severe lack of reserve games of late to go to :), so its handy to hear from someone who has.

Interestingly Billy Sharp seems one of the strongest in training, he can hit the back of the net as well as anyone, so is it just a confidence issue on matchday?

With the exception of Carney i'd drop every one of Robson's signings in fact i'd show em the door with a size ten up their arses, the trouble is we are stuck with them for now, midfield looks especially threadbare.

You don't think he should drop Quinn, he would have to work so hard to get back in the team for me!

That tackle that got him sent off was pointless and how do we know he won't get frustrated in the future and do the same again!

I'd get Carney back in was really picking his game up before he was dropped and I've always been a fan on Jon Stead and would like to see him get a few more starts for us!

We are seriously lacking a quality left back for me the rest of the defense i am happy with, and as for the midfield i still think we are missing that man in the center to burst forward and create chances for others and himself rather than the strikers having to feed of scraps which is what they are doing now and our recent scoring record isn't great

Usually i would defend Paddy to the hilt, i beleive he is a fantastic keeper, and he isnt afraid to run intop the pack when a corner has been swung in. Since Bennet got injured (lucky for Paddy) we saw Paddy jump straight back into the number 1 spot, but Bennet was doing so well, his first game between the sticks against Hull, he played a blinder, and we would have won if it wasn't for the panalty awarded to them. Perhaps Blackie will realise this and give him another shot (if he is fit now)

Out of the 16/17 regulars, I wouldn't pick out Paddy Kenny as one of the underperformers.

My main problems with Kenny is.......

He isn't quick enough off his line.

His kicking at times is atrocious.

He gets beat from distance far too much.

Off the line I'll give you but his kicking has been sound all this season and when was the last time he was beaten from distance? Well, more often than can be forgiven.

but his kicking has been sound all this season

I don't know, there has been a fair few times he just seems to aim for the stands. Also plenty of times it just goes nowhere near our players. I am of the opinion that he just boots it forward in hope for the best.

and when was the last time he was beaten from distance? Well, more often than can be forgiven

I think this is more of a past thing, but he still does get beaten from distance easily. I'll try think of a few, but my memory is awful.

I wasn't picking on Paddy mainly, I was just saying he hasn't been as good as he was, say last season or the season before. Still a great keeper regardless, but i think he should have to fight for that shirt.

I've watched many a keeper buckle under pressure from passbacks and mis que the ball out of play, or just simply pass it out. Paddy seems to be able to get the ball upfield 99 times out of 100. The only problem i do have with him kicking, is from dead ball goal kicks, all the players gather in a tiny section of the pitch knowing where the ball will go, I don't see why we can't stretch teams across the pitch and vary the kicking. But a lot of teams seem to do it.
