Who gets dropped?

for me
Naysmith (already :D)
Sharp
Beattie

In come Armtrong Shelton and Stead

Neighsmith again and again and again..............

along with can't be arsed BT.

Sharp should definatly be dropped, we cant afford to keep giving him chances when all he does is lose the ball, especially when we have a goal scorer running up and down the wings warming up, lately our strikers have been awful, and the only other hope we have is that Webber will be coming back soon. Beattie and Sharp should be dropped, i'm tired of hearing people tell me Beattie does alot, we just don't notice him, when all he does is wait for the goals to come to him...

Interesting concept dropping a player who was never in the team.

;)

i would like to see webber back, shelton and webber would be interesting, very fast frontline and with cotteril and martin on the wings, it would be an extremely fast attack force indeed :D

I disagree with Webber. He isn't a striker at all in my opinion. All show and no end product.

What's happening with this young un from Inter Milan?? Slavkovski?

good shout, heard nothing from him since we got him on loan, hulse thrown out of the picture aswell
im disapointed with hulse tbh
he had all them chances against palace and just seems to lack end product now which is a shame as he was once a great strier for us

So we finally agree that BT couldn't give a toss?

I don't.

Just because his natural stance suggests he doesn't care, doesn't mean its true. Fair enough he's stopped scoring for now, does that mean the majority of our squad are lazy and don't give a toss?

In recent times, Beattie has been one of the few showing passion and trying to build some sort of rapport. He's out of form and had a few bad games yes, but the eagerness to drive him out of the club is frightening.

but the eagerness to drive him out of the club is frightening.

It seems like we are in a real blame culture with everyone looking for people to blame and hound out of the club.

:shakehead:

I dont think Beattie should be sold. He has a lot to offer as he showed in the early part of the season. We just need to get this form out of him again somehow.

Wasn't Slavkovski guy meant to be "fit" to play against boro.

If we had back up I'd probably say Del boy. Seems to be making mistakes, and like Foxy said in the other thread, made a reckless challenge towards the end of the game.

You're brave!

Apart from me??:D

I said in the thread about this Keefs the only player we have with real experience at right back. It could be worth maybe giving one of the young lads a step up. Starotsa (Sp) seemed to be getting good reviews when hes been out on loan.

Good point there actually.

Is it time we gamble on some of our youngsters??

Whilst they can hardly do worse, its a very difficult time to blood them. Especially with the blame culture in full flow as it is.

Its a time where we also need experienced heads to step up to the plate, I think this is one of the big points Mr Blackwell will have made in the "clear the air" meeting.

Yeah it would be throwing them in at the deep end, and like you said with all the pressure from the crowd etc. it could affect them.

I suppose it would have be chosen on the basis of the individual. If we have a young determined player, who can cope with the pressure, crowd etc (strong character) then they could be a possibility.

If a young player got thrown in they'd be fighting to keep the place (hopefully), whether or not they're ready to compete at this level only the management know!

Drop Sharp, put BT on the bench with Hulse. Carney and Cotterill wide with Shelton Stead in the middle. Like to see Law on the bench at least if not in for Tonge.

I'd prefer Webber out of our 2 with all pace and no end product.

I've always rated Webber though, think he's more dangerous and a more consistent finisher, something we're missing majorly.

As it stands I'd have Beattie and Stead up front, Stead's the best striker at the club for me. Don't think it matters when the service is as bad as it is though. We've had about 2 chances in the last 4 games I think.

Get Law in for SQuinny.

Stead in for Sharp. Martin on left for Tonge. Carney on right for Cotterill.
