Good post Clarky....and I will add though that the 3-0 after 15 minutes was born from the pressure felt by the players, and the pressure and tension coming from the stands. If we'd got the result we deserved at Bolton it would have been totally different.

I'm not blaming the fans, it is to some degree understandable and I'm as frustrated and angry as the next bloke. But it will not change until there is a change in attitude from the fans because at the moment I believe that although one affects the other both ways...it needs a whole shit of luck and fortune to bring about a result that might get the fans going. That or a big signing...and we all know that's unlikely.

So we need to adapt, we need to start taking the piss....like we did with Porter to some degree. Look at how bad we are and just laugh at it. We were going this way with Weir....and after 10games with him I would never have thought I might enjoy a day out at Wembley. We took our deficiencies, and turned it around to laugh at ourselves.

I agree!

To be fair it would create a bit more light hearted atmosphere and in turn that could ease the pressure felt by everyone including the fans.

.

It's now becoming abundantly clear that CW was brought in on the cheap (to his dream job - otherwise why would he accept it unless he was lied to) and is another in the long line of fall guys for those in charge.

It's been said on here many times by many people, but the only way this shithouse board will take note is if it's going to hurt in the only place they care about - their packets. This is where we (the fans) are to blame because we moan and groan but still turn up in unbelievable numbers no matter what shit is thrown at us. So here's a thought - why don't we just not turn up one week? Let them see what we think and how bad it could get with a large empty stadium and how much revenue they'd generate from very low crowds. If they see it, it might just hit home - or even why not have a mass walk out like the Liverpool fans did half way through the game (not at half-time because they should see it happening). I'm sire there are fans around with contacts and who are far more intelligent than me who might be able to organise such a protest but would the majority of fans actually support it - I certainly would?

Ditching Long after a poor start tells you all you need to know about the current set up.

So basically what we're telling the other local, young players is that if you have a couple of bad games you're finished and out of the door.

That should help morale and confidence...

About 20 bad games that should have read.

Long should have been let go in the summer.

Speculate to accumo/alate,always worked for me when playing monopoly.Old Kent Road or Mayfair which one will win the game for you, with Hotels of course ;)

Leading the line well and doing his job well,

What do you make of that ?

He's sleeping with a players wife and hasn't scored any goals in the league.

Broad shot over Billy's shoulder and Fans if we moan or back Billy . Method in the a Wilder madness .

Rumours and snippets of unrest come out. I've heard one myself recently. And Wilder isn't so daft to realise it won't get out into the public domain.
So I guess by saying that he's nailing his colours to Clarke and giving a kick up the Arse to others (sharp) and possibly acknowledging there is a problem in the camp. His team selection might make it clearer on Saturday....but if I was a betting man I would bet that Clarke will start and Sharp will be benched.

Bet Wilder is wondering what the hell HES done....left a side that was flying high to join this mental case of a club. And his last side wasn't even paying them all before Xmas FFS!

Makes Wilder look a bit if a tw@t all round I would say.

No idea why he said it in the first place , unless it was a answer to a question . He ain't that politically diplomatic in the man management of players our Chris Wilder .

Bit like one or more senior chosen player (s) who represent the squad go to see Wilder about Leon Clarke attitude .

Wilder says he ain't been signed to be a players or fans favourate . If it's Billy moaning tell him to fuck off or come and see me .

Another nail in Billy's coffin perhaps . No idea but this squad all appear to want a arm round there shoulders with a bit of love in.

The other option is actually keep him and let other clubs get deseperate at the end of the transfer window. If he does not sell then so be it and he will likely increase in value between now and January.

I am going on that we were told 3 years or so ago that we no longer need to sell our young players, so just more lies from McBullshit.
I'm not sure if that's much different to

'Don't sell him now, wait until the last couple of days of the window to hope we might get a couple of hundred grand more but miss out on most of our targets.'

A lot can happen in three years, like two managerial changes and about £10m in losses.

The impression I get is that the club had written this season off as a rebuilding phase and that's why the dross was shipped out but recruitment was haphazard, they assumed what we started the season with was enough to finish in a comfortable upper mid table position..

After the first few games it's started to hit home that this squad now is not even good enough to achieve that and may be so poor it could be relegated and they are starting to panic.

Some truly desperate bids look like they are going in.
That's pretty much my take on it.

Some excellent points being made on here. I agree that the atmosphere in the Lane is not helping and the booing jeering minority do nothing to help anyone , however neither do the 90% of us who sit in partial silence most of the time.

Either way that isn't the main cause however, we all know deep down that is the quality of players (overall) that we seem intent on signing season after season. We need CHARACTERS and leaders who can rise above the pressure and any disgruntlement from the stands. But of course we don't/won't/can't sign those type of players anymore, we leave them for other big clubs or small clubs who genuinely fancy a pint at promotion to the Championship.

Over to you SUFC to prove me wrong. I have tried to be quite measured regarding results so far and a win will lift everything considerably but lose badly on Saturday and I really will start to panic.

They got an arm around the shoulder with Adkins and they let him down.

Doesn't look good for Billy...whether it's a kick up the arse or a pack yer bag's remains to be seen and might rest on Billy's reaction to being dropped eh? (if he is dropped, that is...)

Time is ticking...

Another 4/5 games like the last, and there will be no need to "just not turn up", it will take its natural course, to a level where even st holders won't go.

I suppose the difference is that Liverpool fans were protesting about ticket prices and we'd be protesting about the lack of ambition by the club.

Think it might make us a bit silly.

I want the club to admit to us having mid table expectations and then I'll go to the game with lower expectations myself.

Human nature is taking over. If you like sharp you don't like Clarke, yet if you don't like Sharp you like Clarke.
I would like for Sharp and Clarke to start doing their jobs.

Not sure how you get to hate Clarke love Sharp. And vice versa.

It's just doesn't work like that.

But with 1 goal and 0 assists between them in 4 games, these stats have got to improve, and fast.
