Che was the only player I didn't want to see us sell. He was the only one who might one day amount to something. Our only exciting prospect and we sold him off for a few pence with many on here shouting "great deal" and masturbating themselves silly. Daft bastads.
We have little money to strengthen and theres no longer a single player in this squad I would be upset to see go. Not a morsel of talent, fight or passion in the players. Perhaps the only player that does care for the club seems to be misfiring and not suited to the managers tactics. I doubt it will work out for him. We have nothing left. That's sad.
What happened to the Sheffield United that used to run through brick walls, broken glass and the oppositions bones to get to the ball? The Sheffield United that mastered Arsenal in the league with Phil Jagielka in goal and a rocking Bramall Lane so loud that the BBC had to mute the microphones in front of the kop? Even the third division Sheffield United that shook football, sweeping aside premier league opposition to reach two cup semi finals in a year and only narrowly missing out on both cup finals?
We are being strangled. Strangled by a lack ambition from an inept board. They're putting in £8m a year to keep us going? If we got back to where we should be they wouldn't need to put in another penny ever again. If they'd have put this years £8m in last year instead we may have been in the championship already. Likewise this year, if another year in league one is going to cost you another £8m next season then for god sake give it to Chris Wilder now instead, £16m. Let him sign the best players in this league right now and get us out of this godforsaken, heartbreaking division for good.
Please.
