Sharp strikes me as being single minded and selfish. Which is a good thing for a proven goal scorer. His mind set as much as his talent has contributed to what has been a broadly successful career.

But a team captain ?

I agree last season he was very inconsistent and missed a fair few chances, but I always felt that if needed he could get a goal, not to sure this season.

He's a twenty goal a season player. If he's not getting chances maybe it's an idea to look at the utterly abysmal football the other ten are playing to him.
