Wallace didn't get much of a look in last season and for whatever reason vanished from the radar. I actually thought he looked a class act in some of the games he played, looked a very promising player that was very comfortable with the ball and had a wicked left foot. Hope he gets another opportunity.
 
Freeman is not a full back. He`s a wing back. He bombs on,and when play breaks down takes 10 minutes to get back. That was bad but mitigated on the occaisions Flynn covered for him.
Never mind,I`m sure Wilder will work this out eventually as he has with Long. Long time slow time Wilder,Long time slow time.
 
In agreement with most on here. K Wallace looked decent at left back last season. Quite tall and can remember a few forays into the opposition peno area. Then, like a flock of geese, he disappeared, over the horizon, never to be seen again.

Not saying he was poor but "class act"? Or does that just reflect on what we are watching at LB and LM this season.

Freeman Coutts and to a lesser extent Wallace werent the answer last season and they won't be this but if we are looking at them for a bit of hope what's the genuine consensus and the current lot?
 
One things for sure: we haven't hit rock bottom yet. I just hope that Wilder can handle the rebuild.
 
If K Wallace is back in I'd suggest we are going 5 at the back with Basham or Wright as an additional CH.

K Wallace is a winger though for me not a left back. Still might be interesting.

Feel we are going to be on for a right hiding tomorrow as we are going from 1 team of strangers to another with the amount of changes rumoured.

Remember giving him MOM a couple of times, not bad to say he only played a handful of games. I still don't understand why he vanished??

I especially liked his ability to drive forward, beat players and whip in dangerous crosses. I think there is serious talent there, like I said - hope he gets a run.

Better as a wing back. We've already got one of the best LBs in the division though who can do all of what you say Wallace can, but unfortunatly can't defend.

I really liked him in attacking positions. He doesn't beat his man but just shifts the ball a couple of yards and whips it in. I'd try him in front of Wallace on that basis.

I agree, looked a very good footballer, composed, underrated. I think the criticism of him is very unfair seeing as he is a young lad and not played too many games. I hope he gets the nod tomorrow and I look forward to seeing him and hopefully Whiteman also!

Agree ST, wing back probably would suit Wallace's style. He seemed to me to play better at LB bombing on rather than at LM, so on that basis I would start him ahead of Hussey at LB. Early days but so far Hussey has proven the critics right about his defending and I'm still waiting for him to show what he can do going forward. Wallace over Hussey would be my pick.
 



He's a better player than Hussey to my mind. Not as dangerous going forward but at least he can defend.

Wait and see who plays. But I'm not convinced we are any stronger to today's transfer dealings

Wilder's doing a great job if we do! Could be a very short tenure! I hope the team is in better shape than it looks from the outside - shambles
