18th at best with this regime and manager. If we are lucky.
 
My spidey senses tell me that we might struggle at home for a while, nothing like the Rochdale and Southend performances but I suspect the players will be edgy in front of the home crowds until things settle down. To counter this I see us being very decent on the road and picking up plenty of wins.

Mid table until around November then I see us getting our home form in order; Brammal Lane awakens from its slumber and off we go.

I'm sorry, but this is a dysfunctional poor quality squad with a manager who is playing players out of position and a formation that is baffling.

What do you think he will achieve this year?

Yes offload 2 of our better players that is good way to settle the fans down.

We just need to offload Billy and that will make the fans really happy.

Some people actually want to do this. I despair.
 
I'm not going to get my hopes up yet just because we've signed a new keeper, even a good keeper (we don't know how good Moore is going to be for us) can only impact so much.

We still need to make some decent outfield signings first (even if during the JTW), although I think we may become better as the season progresses.

But being realistic as of now we've still got a long season ahead imo, I know its only been 3 games but words can't describe how dire the performances have been so far therefore there is a hell of a lot of hard work the players and CW have ahead of them if we are to drastically improve, because that's what its going to take.

I have to agree; I just thought on Tuesday that, surely if I can see Clarke isn't a target man, the players aren't comfortable with hoofing it, why can't the manager see it? It'll take an overhaul of tactics and formation to get this squad performing to its "potential" (LOLZ) but I can't see it with Wilder, he seems a very intransigent personality.

I'd be surprised if we challenged at the minute. But that's more a measure of too much too soon.

But what if he changes it? Moving out a player that he was first very keen on, surely shows that he won't stick with things that don't work?

I don't expect to see Sharp and Clarke both starting tomorrow. With Moore in goal and Brayford gone it will be a minimum of three changes, and probably a new formation.
 
I know it's all doom and gloom at the moment but let's just take a step back and have a proper look at our situation. We are 3 games in andhe still looking for our first win. We are also disappointed with the last 2 performances as no quality has been show at all and players are looking a little bewildered to say the least with the tactics. But, let's be honest here. After letting 10+ players go, bringing 8 or so in what did we really expect ? Which team in this country could hit the floor running with so many changes to the playing staff, never mind with a new management structure too. We had 4 or 5 games pre season which hardly pushed the players and we expect to dominate League 1 ?? Give it time, we have 43 games left and we could, if things click, still be celebrating come next May. I know it's looking bleak but let's see what the next few months bring, we could be jumping the gun here !!

Adams has talent but was a bevvy merchant and we were right to cash in. I would be amazed if he does much in the Championship. As for Brayford if you think that he is one of our better players then I despair. A lovely lad no doubt but he just hasn't recovered from his injuries and was a complete drain.

Who's better than him? I'll give you Sharp, who else?
 
As I said in an another post, I expect us to finish mid table this season. The next three games will give us a better idea of where we will end up. After such a disastrous result, 1 point from the next 9 will probably mean we will struggle and could go down. 4 will probably mean a mid table finish, 6 and above, anything could happen, including promotion. This is based on historical league data here in Germany. Of course it might not apply in Blighty.

Quite honestly, on recent form you can take your pick. Considering how badly we played on Tuesday I would expect someone of Brayford's ability to stand out but he didn't and hasn't for a long, long time. He may have the ability but his head has gone . Best off elsewhere imo.
