Is it to soon

Burnley are the ones we can finish above. And if that mug Parker lasts long enough, we will

Leeds are notorious bottle merchants. Promotions are to them what play off finals are to us.

Maybe, but they look way too good this time around and I don't think there's anybody that will be able to keep up.

On most metrics they have a top three attack, defence, possession etc.
They have a lot of depth in the squad, strong home support, a manager with promotion experience. I think they'll be 10/15 clear of third.

Watched a bit of that too mate, and agree. They looked poor.

The Burnley TV commentators were lamenting a few injuries, but with the squad Parker has it shouldn't make that much difference.
I have to say, Millwall looked full of running and made some pretty decent chances with quick one touch stuff.
Based on what I saw, I'm not surprised they're sitting just outside the play-offs at the mo.

Neil Harris is Millwalls version of CW

Managed them on 3 separate occasions and played 300+ games for them.. sometimes things just fit.

In terms of stats, yep they're right up there in chances created and are the dark horses of the league this season imho.

Last season they had same manager and even better squad and fucked it up

Only brought in Rondon who was there last year, and sold these - they are weaker and lost out to Southampton and Ipswich to go up
Chokers, fuckin hope so anyway 😂

We just need to try and keep winning and hounding them down, I'm sure both Leeds and Sunderland will have a poor run , neither are miles in front

Leeds won’t piss it. Everyone says that at the beginning of every Championship season when they’re in it.
Leeds will piss it if teams turn up massively over-respecting them and throwing their own winning formula out of the window.

Like we did.

We’ll be left to lament until we play them next what might have been had we simply played the same system that had us as the last unbeaten EFL team.

That being said, in terms of points won on the field, we’re above them after 13 games.

Think I mentioned it on another thread a few weeks ago, but I'll say it again.

I don't think anyone in this league has stood out as a top 2 team just yet, but there's been a lot of potential top 6 teams for different reasons.

Blades, Leeds, Burnley, Sunderland, Norwich, West Brom and Middlesbrough.

Even though I've listed 7 teams, they're the only teams I've seen that I think can genuinely challenge for the top 6, and will likely make up the positions 1-7 in whatever order.
