It is all flimsy, the whole opinion and speculation lark of football is flimsy. That is why every one of us guesses, speculates on who/what we need and the whole shooting match. You went early on Adkins last season and were proved to be correct in what you said. You could just as easily to the same with Wilder and be utterly wrong.

Right now, I want to know the future price of Oil because it is important to my job. Now, do I speak to you, or do I speak to current and former people within the industry? Their opinion is informed so I would go with them. But they are potentially going to be wrong because predicting something like the price of oil into the future depends on so many revolving variables.

I wouldn't call that a very good comparison for the reason that the oil industry and the football industry are very different. If you compare a former players opinion to a fans opinion, I don't think the former player has any advantage over the fan. You mentioned knowing staff at the club, which I explained why that wouldn't really matter. I would invite you to come up with any more reasons to evaluate.

I like Gage, I like Edwards, both call it like it is- despite being referred to as doom MONGERS on here last season, when there was absolutely fuck all to be happy about they reflected the views of the majority of supporters.

And Gage especially doesn't fall for the spin or clap trap put out by folks like Phipps, the prince or Mcabe.

If we ever get promoted it will be despite the board, not because of them.
