Well I am afraid that they all flopped on Football Manager 2016 with the exception of Duffy who is MOTM and TOTW all the time.

Bury held me for ransom and I ended up paying over the odds for Clarke which disappoints me as he was that poor alongside Sharp that I transfer listed him half way through the season and even then nobody really wanted him.

Anyway I rectified this situation by signing O'Brien from Millwall.....He is just a monster in front of goal and has spearheaded me toward promotion with just a handful of games remaining. Him and Mike Jones who is also ridiculously good, it means I have to play Duffy on the other wing but he can do this quite easily.

There you go....Tufty is great but I think I am much more suited to the job I am afraid based on my PC heroics.
You're playing the game wrong. Simple as that.

Too young to go outside looking for Pokemon?

I didn't think bash did nearly enough to be in central midfield last night...thought he was mostly absent.

We need better than Bash playing there Fraggle but still think he was one of our better players, though that wasn't saying much on the night.

Just a few points for all the SUFC fans moaning already about the result last night.
1. With better finishing ( even average finishing) we should have had 5/6 goals, from the numerous 'main' chances created.
2. We hit the woodwork twice & had 17 shots!
3. All the above was despite poor quality final cross/ball again. It was same story at Bolton.
4. There were more tackles/interceptions from us last night than in the 22 home games last season!
5. One defensive mix-up in 89th minute cost us the win.
5. It was positive, attacking, purposeful football from the start, great to see a Blades team pressing the opposition all over the pitch.
6. Brayford needs to liven up & play like he can.

Conclusion: Sometimes, the results don't mirror the performances, but over the course of a season they will.
We'll be just fine.
UTB.

Wonder if Sharp is on his way to Bradford then ? Or if Bradford is on his way to Wigan ? Come to think of it , Bradford is on the way to Wigan , if using the M62. Maybe CW made Sharp captain as a smokescreen for the press ? That's the high press , not the gutter press. Hope our Che money isn't down the gutter. Could be lots more movement in the next 3 weeks , including the van coming for me. It's those transfer windows that do it. They'll let me out once it's closed , and the hope can't kill me any more. Ah , Hope , oh no , here it comes again , Hope, Badger, Hemsley, Flynn, Colquhoun, Hockey, Woodward, Salmons, Dearden Currie, Reece - how could they inflict such quality on a 12 year old ? Leaving him damaged for 46 years ? See you in September

All the signings made by Wilder are an improvement on the players they replaced.

Wilson and O Connell are better Collins and Mceveley

Fleck massive improvement on Hammond

Duffy better than JCR

Hussey better than Harris

Clarke an improvement on Sammon.

Still think we need a GK further CB, a CM & LW, plus replacements for a the transfer listed players, Scougall and McNulty, who ain't good enough.

Fans need to realise that Wilder has a massive job on his hands and it may not be until the second half of the season, that it all comes together. As long as we are in the promotion hunt, we ll be fine.

I think McNulty is good enough for League 1 mate and certainly good for a bench option, but agree on all other points.

I have not seen Clarke play, but can't help thinking that what ever he achieves it will not take much to surpass the efforts of Salmon, Higdon and to a degree Porter.

You wouldn't be taking the piss if it was you sat there taking the piss out of me if you was you sat there with a dodgy ticker and it was me who rocked up would you :D

Wtf are you on about? It was a joke about you posting at length about Fifa or whatever.

I think you're mixed up and think you're on LinkedIn or something.

I'm guessing though something medical as you clearly aren't an English teacher.

Grammar Police, ouch that hurts that does :D.

It was enough to pass a degree and carve out a fantastic career for myself, that will do me! Cheers for the concern though!

Well done, let's have a look at your cv.

Apologies for not taking your achievements seriously though, imagine how embarrassed I am not knowing how important you were on this forum. Do you Google your own name every couple of hours?

Great bedside manner though

You're confusing bewilderment with concern btw.

Nah, it's just a little hobby I have for when i'm not out saving people. Come to mention, how many have you saved this month out of curiousity?
I'm lost here. Surely your post about FM was meant to be a joke and therefore likely to attract jokey responses? So why are you getting all arsey about them?

What the hell are you babbling on about? I couldn't give a toss about being in the "in crowd" or "mr popular" on this forum. I'm here to socialise with some fellow blades and I have met some pretty sounds ones at that, along with a few arses.

Not what I said.

Fleck is the stand out player of the newcomers.

Billy Sharp's arse is nearly as big as Serena William's,just an observation it waddles like a ducks when he walks, does he really need such a big gluteus maximus, its affecting his ball control.
A bit like Hulk of Brazil is it?

Including Sharp and Basham and Long.
Sharp no chance. He's free from all criticism for a while at least. He made last season bearable - he's got more goodwill than anyone else on that pitch for me.

Hussey - let's the ball bounce too much. Can't defend for shit. Looks "OK" on the ball. Good cross.. Not good enough.

O'Connell - can see why Brentford decided to buy replacements. Looks OK on the ball but again, seems to let it bounce as opposed to attacking it.

Wilson - Shite on the ball. Looks nervy as hell. His best attribute so far is kicking it into the south stand.

Duffy - always liked him, he's now shit. Looks so slow, I seem to remember he was a fast tricky winger.. Not this season.

Fleck - clearly a good player. Off night tonight.

Clarke - best player on pitch tonight.. HOWEVER, when has he ever been used as a target man like this in his career? Yes he's winning the flick ons but this isn't what Leon Clarke is all about. Its gonna ruin him as a player.

Other notable mentions..

Done - totally wasted on left. Neshes tackles. Let's it bounce. Doesn't attack the ball.

Basham - not commanding enough as a CM. Drop Wilson, put Basham at CB and play Coutts with Fleck.

We're fucking shit

Based only the stuff seen via BladesPlayer, Chapman seems to have nice potential

OK, i was wrong about JOC and Duffy. But look at the statement about Basham and Coutts 👌

Someone enlighten me as to who this Chapman was, with great potential. I'm wrackin' mi tiny brain trying to remember him

Harry Chapman who was on loan from Boro. Got a bad injury and was out for the majority of the 2nd half of the season
